CMAT Syllabus 2019 will remain similar to that of the previous year's as announced by the press release for National Testing Agency. Although details on CMAT 2019 syllabus is yet to be announced by the NTA, Mota Chashma has provided the CMAT syllabus on the basis of previous years' question papers. As per the CMAT exam syllabus, the topics will be based on four sections, which are Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

The CMAT syllabus is somewhat similar to that of CAT, XAT and MAT. For the session 2019-21, CMAT will be held by NTA instead of AICTE. Candidates are advised to be familiar with the CMAT syllabus to become familiar with the topics and sub-topics of the exam. CMAT Syllabus 2019 – Quant, Reasoning, Language, GK

As mentioned earlier, CMAT syllabus 2019 will help aspirants to understand the topics on which the questions will be based. The MCQs in CMAT will be based on topics such as Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. The CMAT syllabus is similar to any of the management entrance test held in India. Check the points below for the syllabus of CMAT 2019 -

  • Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation: Algebra, Number Systems, Allegation & Mixtures, Partnership, Averages, Percentages, Fraction and Decimals, Permutations & Combinations, Geometry, Pipes and Cisterns, Graph, Probability, In-equations Line, Profit and Loss, Mensuration, Quadratic and linear equations, Number Systems, Ratios and Proportion, Partnership, Simple Interest and Compound Interest
  • Logical Reasoning: Analogy Test, Non Verbal Tests (Visual reasoning), Analytical Reasoning, Number Series, Blood Relationship Tests, Ranking Tests, Cause and Effects, Sequencing, coding and decoding problem, Coding and Decoding, Statements and assumptions, Direction and Distance test, Statements and Conclusion, Inferences, Statements Arguments, Linear Arrangements, Symbol based problems, Matrix Arrangements

CMAT Syllabus 2019 - Exam Pattern

CMAT Syllabus 2019 - About the test

From this year onwards, the Common Management Admission Test will be conducted by the National Testing Agency instead of the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). CMAT 2019 will be held in a computer based test for admission to the management programmes of various B-Schools and other institutes across India. The test will contain 100 questions, and candidates will be allotted 3 hours to complete the test. The questions will be in Multiple Choice Question format and each question will have four options. As per the CMAT 2019 marking scheme, 4 marks will be allotted for each correct answer. As we can see on the above table, there will be 100 MCQs distributed among four sections. Each section will have 25 MCQs  and the total score of the test is 400.
