CMAT Exam Pattern 2019 will soon be announced by the National Testing Agency. From this year onward, NTA will be conducting CMAT 2019 and will decide the CMAT test pattern. However, as per the NTA press release, the CMAT exam pattern and syllabus for this session will remain the same. As per the CMAT 2019 exam pattern, the test will be held in a computer based mode for admission to various management institutes. The CMAT test pattern will help aspirants to understand the exam structure and distribution of questions.

As per the CMAT exam pattern 2019, the test will contain a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. For each correct attempt, candidates will be awarded 4 marks. Candidates must note that 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will be a total of four sections, and each one will contain 25 MCQs. CMAT Exam Pattern 2019 - Marking Scheme

Students must know that according to the CMAT exam pattern 2019, there will be a strict negative marking scheme in the CMAT Exam 2019 which may directly affect their All India Ranking. If a question is answered correctly applicants will get full marks for that i.e. 4 Marks and if he/she marks the incorrect choice then their 1 mark will be deducted from the total marks secured by them. CMAT Exam Pattern 2019 - Quick Overview

Since there will be no changes in the CMAT 2019, therefore aspirants can depend on previous year CMAT syllabus and exam pattern to start with their preparation. CMAT 2019 is going to be held in a computer based online mode with questions based on Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

According to CMAT exam pattern, candidates will be allotted 3 hours to attempt 100 MCQs. Candidates must note that for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted, therefore, they must make sure that they don't do too much of guesswork. For every correct answer, four marks will be awarded.

 CMAT Exam Pattern 2019 – Instructions for Test Day

Along with some CMAT exam pattern details, candidates are provided here with some exam day guidelines on the points below -

  • Applicants have to reach their respective test centres 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the examination
  • At the test centre, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations
  • 1 hour extra will be granted to visually impaired or cerebral palsy candidates
  • No candidate would be allowed to carry mobile phones, calculator, digital watch or any gadget inside the examination hall
  • No candidates would be allowed to talk or discuss in the examination, any candidates found doing so will be dealt with as per the norms of the university
