About Ambedkar University MBA Admission

Ambedkar University MBA Admission will be based on the entrance exam conducted by SBPPSE. The application process for the same has been started for the 2018-20 batch in the School of Business, Public Policy & Social Entrepreneurship (SBPPSE) of Ambedkar University Delhi. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) was established in 2007 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi through Act of Legislature. AUD is currently operating two campuses located at Kashmere Gate and Karampura. Ambedkar University Delhi offers undergraduate, post-graduate and research programmes. This MBA Program is offered by the School of Business, Public Policy and Social Entrepreneurship (SBPPSE) established by AUD. The last date of Ambedkar University MBA Admission 2018-20 application submission is 10 February 2018.

Ambedkar University Delhi has an intake of total 42 seats in its two-year full-time MBA Course 2018, The detailed distribution of seats have been given below. The 85% of seats have been reserved for the candidates from Delhi and National Capital Territory while the rest 15 % of seats have been reserved for the candidates from outside National Capital Territory.

Ambedkar University MBA Admission Eligibility criteria

Eligibility for Indian Candidates

  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree with the minimum mark of 50 percent or equivalent grade from a recognised university in any discipline.
  • There is a relaxation of 5 percent for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Handicapped categories.
  • Those candidates who are appearing in the final year of Bachelor/Post Graduate Degree Examinations are eligible to apply in this MBA Program. However, they have to submit their eligibility certification to the AUD office before 31 August 2018.

Eligibility for Foreign Candidates

  • Foreign candidates with foreign degrees are required to submit GMAT and TOEFL scores
  • All foreign nationals must hold a student visa valid for the entire period of study, endorsed by the Ministry of External Affairs.
  • The degrees of foreign nationals must be recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.
  • The NRI and PIO candidates will have to apply in the general category only.

Ambedkar University MBA Application Form can be filled through online mode only. However, in case of payment by DD the application form, a hard copy is to be submitted in offline mode only. Steps to fill Ambedkar University MBA Application Form

STEP 1: Candidates have to register themselves before filling the application form. They have to generate their ID and Password to log in by providing their Email. (ID & Password will be sent to candidate’s email)

STEP 2: After successful login, the instruction page for application will be displayed on the screen. Applicants should read this page carefully and click on the “continue” button to fill the application form.

STEP 3: Candidates have to fill their personal detail such as Name, DOB, Gender, Family Details, etc.

STEP 4: Candidates have to upload their recent photograph and scanned copy of signature in the application form. The photograph and signature should be in .jpg and .jpeg format and not be exceeding the size more than 500 Kb.

STEP 5: Candidates have to fill their correspondence address and residential address on the application form.

STEP 6: Candidates have to fill their Academic Detail on the second page of the application form.

STEP 7: Candidates have to pay the application fee for final submission of the application form, and the PDF of the final submitted application form is to be saved. Applicants can check the payment methods and application process in the flowchart given below.

Ambedkar University MBA 2018 Application Process

 

Candidates can pay the application fee through online and offline modes. Ambedkar University Delhi MBA Application Fee can be paid through following modes:

Online Mode: Candidates can pay the application fee through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking at the time of the submission of the application form. Applicants paying the application form fee in offline mode need not send the hard copy of the application form.

Offline Mode: The applicants can also pay the offline application fee for the programme via offline modes i.e. Demand Draft or via Cash. The details of the same have been given below

  • Cash: Candidates should Visit the AUD Kashmere Gate campus and contact the office of Student Services for the cash payment of application form.
  • Demand Draft: Those candidates who are paying the application fee through demand draft must have drawn a DD in favour of ‘Ambedkar University Delhi’ payable at New Delhi. This DD has to be sent along with the printed application form at the following address:

Ambedkar University MBA Application Form can be submitted through online mode only. The last date for application submission is 10 February 2018. Candidates should download a PDF copy of online application form after successful submission, Only in case the payment of made through Demand Draft, applicants will have to send the demand draft along with the application form to the given address below, which must reach the given address before the last date i.e. 10 February 2018 in person or by post.

Ambedkar University MBA Admission Result and Counselling

The selection of candidates in Ambedkar University MBA Program is based on the scores of written entrance test conducted by the university. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and are also required to write an essay (about 300 words) before appearing for the interview.

The final selection for admission will be based on the combined score obtained by the candidates with given below weightage.

Ambedkar University MBA Admission Exam pattern

The entrance test for the MBA program will be based on Multiple Choice Questions which is conducted in two sections. The first section is based on Verbal Ability, Analytical Ability and in the second section, there will be questions on general awareness.

Ambedkar University Fee Waiver and Scholarships 2018

 
The University offers full or partial fee waivers to students who are in need of support given their economic background. The students whose annual family income is less than 6 Lakhs will be considered for tuition - fee waiver.

The gross annual family income ceiling (slab-wise) for availing tuition fee-waiver from the economically backward students (other than SC, ST and PwD), is given below:

The University extends the full waiver of tuition fees to all students belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories.

Procedure for Applying for Fee-waiver

At the time of admission, a student can apply for tuition fee-waiver by submitting supporting documents as below:

  • SC/ST/PwD students have to submit the self-undertaking for availing the fee waiver prescribed by the Student Services division.
  • Economically-backward students should submit the Income certificate issued by Tehsildar/Sub-divisional Magistrate of the current financial year.
