DTE MP Counselling 2018 complete schedule has been announced online and is available here. More than 200 Government and Private Engineering Colleges in MP offer full-time BE programs. The Candidates looking for admission in MP Engineering Colleges should have completed Class 12 and the candidate should have a good score in JEE Main or Common Merit Test. DTE MP Counselling 2018 Dates

DTE MP Counselling Authority has released the counselling dates for the Round 1 and Round 2. The candidates appearing the DTE counselling can register themselves on or before the due date. The complete counselling schedule is mentioned below.

DTE MP Counselling Eligibility criteria

Academic Qualification: The candidates seek admission in BE programs in DTE MP colleges must have passed in class 12 examination from CBSE or State Board or any other government authorised board with Physics and Mathematics as main compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:

  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Bio-Technology
  • Biology
  • Bio-Informatics
  • Multi-Media and Web Technology

In order to apply for admission in MP engineering colleges, it is compulsory that the candidates should have secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST & PWD) in class 12.

The Candidates having 10+3 Diploma in Engineering from a recognised Central / State Governments with 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply for admission in MP Engineering Colleges. The candidates are waiting for final year examination are also eligible to apply.

Qualifying Exam:

  • The candidates applying for admission in DTE MP colleges must have scored good marks in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which is going to be held next year.
  • The candidates not appeared in JEE main examination can also apply but such kind of candidates will have to pass Common Merit Test.

DTE MP Counselling Application form and Admit Card

The DTE MP Counselling schedule has been released online. In order to apply for admission in DTE MP colleges, first, the candidates have to register themselves online. The candidates are suggested to keep themselves updated on the website of motachashma for all the latest updates regarding the DTE MP Counselling. The candidates have to register themselves by following the steps given below

Steps to be followed while applying for DTE MP Counselling 2018

  • STEP 1: First, the candidates have to visit the official website and they have to open the link for registration. Thereafter the candidates have to choose the course as BE then they have to click the link for counselling.  After clicking on the link the candidates will see an important instruction for the next process and about the courses.
  • STEP 2: Now the candidates have to click on the link for counselling activities where the candidates will be able to see the detailed information about counselling activities and their respective links.
  • STEP 3: The candidates after that have to fill the registration form by providing their personal details, educational details, work experiences and contact details.
  • STEP 4: The candidates applying for Counselling process will have to pay fee of Rs 1,530 (counselling fee + partial tuition fee + portal fee)
  • STEP 5: Now the candidates have to enter their JEE Roll Number & Date of Birth and the Non-JEE candidates can click the option for generating MP Online roll number.
  • STEP 6: At last the candidates have to click the link save & next and after the preview of the filled registration form, the candidates can submit their registration form.

Submission of the Application Form

Applications for MP online counselling has to be submitted ONLINE only after the final preview of the application. However, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for future correspondence. 

The candidates are suggested to check the details of the filled in the application form before the final submission as because once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to make the changes later.

DTE MP Counselling Fees

The candidates while filling the registration fee for the DTE MP Counselling have to pay the sum of Rs 1,530 which included counselling fee, partial tuition fee and portal fee. The division of the fee is given in the table below.

DTE MP Counselling Result and Counselling

 Admission in MP Engineering Colleges is done through online counselling and the online counselling process is divided into the following steps. DTE MP Counselling 2018 process involves the following steps:

  • Registration
  • Choice filling
  • Document verification
  • Allotment letter
  • Reporting

Registration: To apply for MP Engineering Colleges, first, the candidates will have to register themselves online.

Choice Filling: After registration, the candidates will have the choice to select the course they are applying for and pay the application fee of Rs 1,530 (counselling fee + partial tuition fee + portal fee) through the following mode:

  • PayTM
  • Net Banking
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card

Document Verification: Now the candidates will be selected for the admission. Selected candidates will have to go to allotted college for Document verification. The candidates will have to bring the following original documents:

  • Mark Sheet of Qualifying Exam
  • Mark Sheet of Class 10 Examination
  • Marksheet of Class 12 Examination
  • Admit Card of Entrance Examination
  • MP Domicile Examination (If applicable)
  • SC/ ST/ OBC Caste Certificate

  • Handicapped Certificate (If applicable)

  • Class Certificate (If applicable)

  • Family Income Certificate should be less than 6 lakhs (If applicable)

  • JK Migrant (If applicable)

  • Gold Medal Certificate (If applicable)

  • BPL or Class 4 Certificate (If applicable)

  • Set of Photocopies of all the required documents

Allotment Letter: After document verification, the candidates will be allotted the seat according to the candidate’s performance in JEE/ Common Merit Test, academic performances, and work experience. The admission conducting authority will send the allotment letter to the selected candidates.

Reporting:  Now the selected candidates will have to report for admission in the allotted college. The candidates will have to report on the time given by the admission conducting body. The Late reporting will result in the cancellation of their seat and the selected candidate’s seat will be allotted to other deserving candidates.

  • Thereafter the candidates have to select the city where they want to pursue BE from.
  • The candidates will have to now select the name of the college and branch of the course.
  • Now the cut off list of the selected college will appear on the screen.
