WBJEE JEHOM 2018 is an all India hotel management exam (BHMCT) conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. JEHOM is conducted for admission into Bachelors in Hotel Management and Category Technology (HMCT) for admission into the above-mentioned colleges affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The candidates  can check WBJEE JEHOM dates 2018 below:

• The applicant should be an Indian citizen. Students from any state or Union Territory of India can apply for the exam.
• The applicant must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any recognized board or university.
• The candidate should have secured minimum 45% in Class 12 or equivalent, however, a relaxation of 5% is given for candidates belongings to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B category.
• The applicant shouldn’t be less than 17 years of age as on the year of admission.

The WBJEE JEHOM 2018 application form was available online; the candidates/ applicants can fill in the application form by visiting the official website. The application process for the WBJEE JEHOM started from 13 March 2018.

Guidelines to fill the WBJEE JEHOM Application Form 2018

• While filling up the application form, the candidates have to provide their name, date-of-birth, e-mail ID and mobile number.
• The candidates will not be given an option for correction in the application form after submitting it, candidates must ensure that all the data are entered correctly.
• The candidate has to upload recent coloured passport size photograph and scanned signature.
• The photo, signature, and age proof document should be in the Jpeg format and in the following specification
  • Passport Size Photograph: Size: 10kb-100 kb (.JPEG/.JPG)
  • Signature: Storage Size: 10kb-100 kb (.JPEG/.JPG)
• Age Proof: Admit card/ mark sheet of class 10 bearing the date of birth should also be submitted. File Storage Size: 100 kb-300 Kb (.JPEG/.JPG)

Payment of Application Fee

The Application fee can be paid only via Allahabad Bank e-Challan. The candidate has to download the e-challan and carry it to any branch of Allahabad Bank and make payment. After making the payment, the candidate has to login again and enter relevant payment details.

WBJEE JEHOM Exam Centers

The candidate has the option to give a preference for any of the two test centres while filling up the application form.

Application Submission

The submission of the WBJEE JEHOM application is online only. The student has to download the confirmation page after filling up the application form. There is no need to send any hard copy of the application form to the WBJEE Board.

WBJEE JEHOM 2018 Admit Card

WBJEE JEHOM 2018 Admit Card was available to download from 14 June 2018. The candidates/ applicants have to download the admit card online. The candidates can download the admit card by entering application number, password and date of birth. 

The candidate needs to carry the hard copy of the admit card to the examination centre along with their photograph same as the one that is uploaded while filling up the application form.

The candidates who appeared in WBJEE JEHOM 2018 Exam can check the result now.  Based on the written test and the WBJEE JEHOM Result,  the applicants/ candidates will be short-listed for the merit list. A place in the merit list doesn’t guarantee admission to any recognized college.

The candidates filling up the WBJEE JEHOM Application form need to make the payment of the form in order to complete the application process. The WBJEE Application Fee is Rs.510

WBJEE JEHOM Annual Fee Structure

In case any candidate does not follow the steps, his seat allotment is not complete. The steps for counselling process are mentioned below.

• Reporting (submitting reporting form and paying the registration fee).
• Verification of academic credentials.
• Verification of reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) certificates.
• Verification of domicile certificate (for reserved category candidates).
• Collection of ‘Allotment Letter”

WBJEE JEHOM 2018 Counselling

• WBJEE JEHOM counselling may commence from the last week of July 2018.
• The application form for counselling can be downloaded from the official website of WBJEE.
• The applicants /candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500 in the form of demand draft payable at Kolkata drawn in favour of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board or they can even pay through cash.
• The counselling will be held at the office of WBJEE Board at AQ-13/1, Sector-5, Salt Lake, Kolkata-700091.

Documents to be produced at the time of WBJEE JEHOM Counselling 2018

• Any recognized photo identity card e.g. Aadhar card/ PAN card / Passport/ voter Page: 2/2 ID card/college – ID card.
• Two copies of passport size colour photographs, one for pasting on the reporting form and another for official purpose
• Counselling Application form (downloaded) duly filled-in and signed.
• Original Admit Card of JEHOM 2018.
• Bank Draft or cash of Rs. 500 (non-refundable) - The Counselling Fee
• Downloaded result Sheet (The page which contains candidate’s name and rank)
• Original mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination
• Original mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) level or equivalent examination
