CG Scholarship 2020 - List of Chhattisgarh Scholarships

CG scholarship 2020 is provided by the Chattisgarh government to the students with Jharkhand domicile. Such scholarships are introduced by the government to promote education and support various students who are unable to manage it. A list of all the CG scholarships is provided on this page. The scholarships provided are for students of classes 3 to 12 belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category. Such scholarships motivate the students to pursue their education by helping and supporting them financially.

There are a total of 50,816 schools that are registered for CG scholarship in which a total of 25,45,111 students have been registered to date. Till now, approximately Rs. 156 Crores have been disbursed to 21.8 lakh students through CG Scholarship.

CG Scholarship List

State CG Scholarship

This CG scholarship is provided to students from class 3 to 8 belonging to SC/ST/OBC category students. There is no income level specified for receiving this scholarship. However, for OBC students, parents/guardians are required to own not more than 10 acres of land. The Scholarship amount disbursed in this CG scholarship is listed in the table below

Pre-Matric CG Scholarship

This CG scholarship is provided to students of class 9 and 10. The students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category receive this CG scholarship. For SC/ST students, reimbursement is provided only when the parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs 2 Lakh p.a. In case of OBC students, the parents/guardians are required to own not more than 10 acres of land. Post Matric CG Scholarship

As the name suggests, this CG scholarship is for students who have passed class 10 and are in class 11 and 12. This scholarship is provided to SC/ST students only when the annual income of the parents/guardians is not more than Rs 2.5 lakhs. In case of OBC students, the maximum annual income is Rs 1 lakh. The table given below lists the scholarship amount disbursed in Post Matric CG scholarship to class 11 and 12 students

Along with the amount listed in the table above, the students will also receive the expenses incurred related to Nidhi Fund.

CG Scholarship for Girl-Child Education

The government of Jharkhand has introduced a CG scholarship to encourage education among girls. The CG scholarship for Girl child education is provided to girls only. This scholarship is provided to girls studying in class 6 only and belonging to SC/ST category. An amount of Rs 500 is provided in this CG scholarship.

Aswachch Dhandha CG Scholarship

This scholarship is provided to students whose parents/guardians are into work like Scavenging, flaying, tanning, waste picking/collecting. The students receiving this CG scholarship need to present the occupation certificate of the parents/guardians every year to continue receiving it. Students receiving this scholarship won’t receive any amount under any other scholarship.
