About WHOaTMs Global Health Internship Scholarship
- WHO’s Global Health Internship Scholarship is an initiative by WHO Intern Alumni to provide financial assistance to candidates from Low-Middle-Income Economies to cope up with WHO Internships.
- The candidates making application should belong to a country that has been classified by The World Bank as Low and Middle Income countries.
- The scholarship provides financial support to 2 candidates so that they can undertake WHO Headquarters internships which are unpaid in nature.
- Applying and selection for the WHO’s Global Health Internship Scholarship doesn’t guarantee selection for the WHO HQ Internship as well.

WHOaTMs Global Health Internship Scholarship Reward
WHO’s Global Health Internship Scholarship financially supports two candidates from an LMIC and cover the costs of an internship at WHO Headquarters Geneva in the Winter 2015/16 cycle.
WHOaTMs Global Health Internship Scholarship Application form and Process
The application process of WHO’s Global Health Internship Scholarship is online. The applicant should download the application form, fill all the required information and send it via mail to complete the application process. The details of the application process are as follow:
- Application Form: The application form can be downloaded from the official website of WHO’s Global Health Internship Scholarship.
- Submission of the Application form: The submission of the application form is to be done by mail only and the candidate should send the completely filled application form to ‘admin@internalumni.org.’
WHOaTMs Global Health Internship Scholarship Selection Process
The Selection of the candidates for the WHO’s Global Health Internship Scholarship will be done in multiple stages. The details of the selection process are as follow:
- Selection Criteria: The selection of the candidate will be on the basis of the qualities of their application form, the strength of recommendation, their potential, and commitment to future leadership.
- Ineligible candidates will be excluded and informed regarding the same.
- 2 independent reviewers will be given score to the remaining applications.
- Based on the score only Top 10 applications will be passed to the external panel to get them ranked.
