Viterbi-India Program 2018: 8 weeks Internship in USA

Viterbi-India Program provides opportunities to Indian students to undertake a Research Internship at the Viterbi School of Engineering, USA in summer 2018 for eight weeks.The opportunity is open to engineers pursuing bachelor's or master's studies. Viterbi-India Program is supported by Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California (USC) and the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF)

The Viterbi-India Program is for following things

• Encourage outstanding students to take up research as a career.

• Provide an opportunity to the best and brightest Indian students to gain exposure and access to world class research facilities in the Viterbi School, USA.
• Pave the way for the next generation engineers from India to interact with American peers, thus help to build long-term R&D linkages and collaborations.
• Promote research and capacity building in frontline areas of engineering and technology.

• Stipend

Enclosures to be sent along with the Application form

• Current transcript (Latest Marks sheet)
• Two letters of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor or lab supervisor on their official letterhead
• No objection certificate from Parent Institution

Submission of Application Form

• Candidates are required to submit Application Form electronically to viterbi-india@indousstf.org before 15 November 2017.
• Candidates are encouraged to submit the application along with documents as a single pdf document.
• Single scans or other electronic versions of documents will also be accepted.
