The Cargill Global Scholars Program

The Cargill Global Scholars program provides financial help and leadership development opportunity for undergraduate students from around the world. Through Cargill scholarship program, Cargill wants to help nourish and build a network of future leaders who can develop innovations. The Cargill Global Scholars program will be offered to talented students who are studying in a field relevant to Cargill’s domain of food, agriculture and risk management. 

This program personifies the commitment of the Cargill's to improving living standards and promoting vigorous and stable communities around the globe. The candidates selected for Cargill scholarship will be provided financial assistance to cover up their educational expenses. In addition to Financial Assistance, selected students will also get the chance to participate in Seminars to enhance their leadership qualities.

Cargill Global Scholarship India Dates

The Reward and other benefits which the candidates will get for choosing "The Cargill Global Scholar" program is given below.

• Financial Benefit: Successful candidate will receive an annual scholarship award of $2,500 USD (Approx. 1.6 lakh) for up to three years, to help offset any educational related expenses. 
• Leadership Seminar: In the first year, the candidates will become part of 3 days workshop to enhance their leadership skills.

• Participate in Global Leadership Seminar: The candidates will have the opportunity to network with Cargill executives, its community and the business leaders, and also all the members of the Cargill Global Scholars worldwide network 

• Guidance: Receive academic and professional direction and counselling from a Cargill leader through the mentorship program.
  

• Enhancing community: The candidates will get a chance to be a part of growing community of future world leaders and visionaries.

• Register yourself on the official website of Cargill India website
• The candidates will receive an email with instructions on how to activate the account
• After that, candidates have to choose the country from which they are applying
• Fill the Scholarship Application Form
• At last, Candidates need to submit the application form

Documents to be enclosed
The documentary evidence that must be sent should include the list below:

• 12th Class Marksheet (official copy)
• College Marksheet (official copy)
• Two Letters of Reference (form provided)
• Curriculum Vitae/Resume.

Submission of Cargill Scholarship Application Form

The candidates filling online application form are advised to check the duly completed application form before submitting it. Candidates are advised to keep at least two copy of printouts for the future reference. The candidates do not need to send any of the hard copy to the Cargill Office. 

If the candidates are unable to submit any documents online, then they must send the documents by 6 March 2018, to:cargillglobalscholarsindia@iie.org

The candidates will be selected for "The Cargill Global Scholar" program on the basis of the performance of the interview organized by the Institute of International Education. The Result of the winner will be announced thereafter. 

• Interviews: Interviews will be scheduled with all semi-finalists in the month of May 2018.
• Result: Award winners will be announced in June 2018.
