About Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016

  • Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016 is a Management programme for Mid-Career Professionals which focuses on advanced business-related problem solving, seminars and meetings with front figures in the commercial, political and cultural fields, as well as on-site company visits.
  • Mid-Career Professionals between 25-45 years of age and having at least 5 years of managerial experience can be a part of Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016.
  • The Program will be conducted in 3 parts i.e. Kickoff, Module 1 & Module 2. Module 1 will be conducted in Sweden while Kickoff and Module 2 will be organized in selected Asian countries.
  • There is no course fee that needs to be paid for the program in addition to that Swedish Institute will cover the expenses of accommodation, food, insurance and travel for the candidates for Module 1.
    • For Module 2, candidates should make their own arrangements.

  • Nationality: Indian citizens are eligible to be a part of Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016.
  • Age: Theage of the applicant needs to be between25 to 45 years.
  • Position & Interest: Theapplicantshould be in a position to drivedecisions and influence the business strategies of the company.
  • Experience: The applicant should have at least 5 years of managerial experience and should bear a senior position within trade, industry or the public sector.

Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016 Rewards

The SIMP 2016 is divided into 3 parts i.e. Kickoff, Module 1 and Module 2. Kickoff & Module 1 will be conducted in selected countries in Asia. So the benefits of the programme are as per its location and the details about them are:

  • Course Fee: Nofee will be charged from the candidates selected for the program.
  • For Module 1: Module 1 will be conducted in Swedenand the followingbenefits will be offered to the selected candidates:
    • Accommodation & Food: The expenses on food and accommodation will be covered by the Swedish Institute.
    • Travel: To and fro flight tickets from Sweden will also be covered by the Swedish Institute. The cost of transport while in Sweden will also be taken care by the Institute.
    • Insurance: During their stay in Sweden the candidates will be insured against acute illness and accident through the Swedish State Group Insurance and personal insurance by The Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Service Agency
  •  For Kick off & Module 2: The KickoffandModule 2 will be conducted in selected countries of Asia. So candidates will have to manage their travel, food and insurance related expenses at their own.
    • The cost of Accommodation will be covered by the Swedish Institute.

Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016 Application Process

The application process of Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016 is completely online and only those candidates will be considered eligible for the program who will complete all the application formalities before the application deadline. The details of the application process are:

  • Application Form: The online application can be made through the application portal. >> Click here to apply for the Program.
  • Documents Required: In order to complete the application process, the candidates are required to submit the following documents:
    • SIMP Asia Application Form 2016: Applicants are required to submit the completely filled application form which will have details related to the applicant and a set of questions to be answered by the candidate. >> Click here to download the application form.
      • Candidates are also required to submit details of at least 2 references, who are familiar with applicant’s work.
    • Letter of Recommendation: Applicant should submit a letter of recommendation from one of the reference person in English only.
      • The letter should specifically motivate your participation in the programme with reference to the programme theme.
    • A recent photograph
    • An updated Curriculum Vitae

Swedish Institute Management Programme 2016 Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for the Swedish Institute Management Programme will be done on the basis of the following criteria:

  • The relevance and quality of personal motivation and commitment, and the applicant’s answers in the SIMP Asia application form.
  • An assessment of the CV.
  • An assessment of the letter of recommendation from one reference person.
  • The general qualifications of the applicant

Result: Only the successful candidates will be contacted and interviewed. So in case candidates are not contacted by February 26, 2016, it implies that they have not been accepted for the program.
