RMO Delhi 2015- Regional Mathematical Olympiad

RMO Delhi 2015, The Regional Mathematical Olympiad is a state level examination, a stepping stone towards the national level examination, the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad.It started in the year 1990.

RMO is the first step in selecting the Indian team for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).India has 25 regions along with three independent groups that conduct Regional Math Olympiad.

Latest UPDATE: RMO Delhi Admit Card will be available from November 30, 2015, and the details related to the venue of the exam will be there on the admit card. Students can download the admit card by clicking here

• One Day Registration Camp: One Day Registration camp is beingorganised for those students who wish to participate in RMO 2015, but their schoolare not registered.
  • Date: November 06, 2015 Time: 02:00 pm to 04:00pm
  • Venue: MZ-174, Department of Mathematics, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi.
  • Documents required: Photocopy and original valid school ID Card & Registration fee of Rs. 200.

•  Each region has its Regional Coordinator, who is responsible for conducting RMO in his/her region. Delhi region students will appear for Central RMO.
• RMO 2015 will take place on December 6, 2015 (Sunday) between 1 PM and 4 PM
• Indian National Mathematics Olympiad 2015- INMO will be held on February 7, 2016
• Registration for RMO Delhi region will begin from August 15, 2015.

RMO Delhi 2015 Application Process

For Delhi/NCR region the application has to be made online through school.

Step 1: The student has to apply online
Step 2: The schools have to approve the application electronically

If the school is not registered then the email has to be sent to Delhi RMO from the school's official email address requesting for a new username and password.

Registration Fees

A single bank draft payable to “Delhi Mathematics Olympiad Association” may be made by the school on behalf of their registered students @ Rs. 100 per student. The bank draft may be sent by post to:

RMO Delhi 2015 Selection Process

• The duration of the RMO is 5 hours in 2 slots of 2 and 3 hours respectively.
• The first test will be based on multiple-choice questions (MCQ), and in the second about 6 to 7 problems will be asked which the applicants will have to solve.
• The test will be held on December 6, 2015 during 10.00 a.m. to 12 noon and during 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

• RMO result 2015 will be posted online within 10 days of RMO 2015.
• At present, each region selects 30-35 students for the INMO. 
• At most 6 students from Class 12 from each region will be selected to appear for Stage  2
