IMSC Summer Research Internship 2018 for College Students in India is offered by the Institute of Mathematical Sciences for the highly motivated candidates studying in B. Sc./BE/B.Tech or M.Sc/ME/M.Tech program. IMSC Summer Research Internship 2018 for College Students in India is a 2 months (maximum) program which will be organised in the summer (May-July 2018). The selected candidates for the program will have an opportunity to pursue advanced study in the field of Theoretical Physics, Mathematics, Theoretical Computer Science and Computational Biology:

IMSC Summer Research Internship Dates

IMSC Summer Research Internship Intake  

The candidates selected for the IMSC Summer Research Internship 2018 will have an opportunity to pursue advanced study in the field of theoretical physics, mathematics, computational biology and computer science.

• The selected candidates will be paid 2^nd class round trip train fare and Rs. 200 per diem.
• The candidates will be provided hostel, mess and all facility during the summer internship program.
• The candidates will also receive a certificate after completing the IMSC Summer Research Internship 2018.

To avail the facility of the internship, the eligible candidates have to apply through online mode. There are separate application forms for Theoretical Physics, Mathematics,    Theoretical Computer Science and Computational Biology, the candidates can fill IMSC application form by following the given link and select the course for the summer internship program he/ she wish to apply. Filling the Application Form: First, the applicants have to provide personal information such as name, affiliation, degree, gender date of birth. Now the candidates have to enter their correspondence details, research areas, accommodation request. Now the candidates have to provide their academic record. The candidates have to briefly describe their academic record. The candidates have to include details of the course that they are presently undergoing, marks/GPA, rank in class, degrees they already hold (if any) etc. The academic record details must be under 3000 Characters.

Uploading the Documents and Files: Now the participants have to upload the photocopy of the required documents such as grade card and programming experience certificate (if have any). During filling the application form the candidates can also upload the file which must have written details about the candidate’s academic record, additional information.

• Recommendation letter - Candidates has to mention Name, title, affiliation and e-mail address of a person who is sending a letter of recommendation. Recommendation letters must be submitted by 5 March 2018.

Submit the application: Now the candidates have to enter the details about the referee. The candidates have to enter the Title, Referee Name, Referee Affiliation, Referee Email and Contact Number. And later candidate need to click on save and submit the application form.

• The candidates will be selected for IMSC Summer Research Internship 2018 on the basis of their academic record and their knowledge in the subject they are studying.
• The candidates selected for the program will have to submit a bonafide certificate from the university where they are currently studying.
