GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship scheme offers an opportunity to Class 10 students to study in Singapore in Class 11 and 12. Candidates will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria, written examination, and the interview round. This scholarship examination will be conducted by Global Indian International School (GIIS). if candidate selected, he/she can pursue class 11 & 12 either in CBSE or IB Diploma at GIIS Queenstown Campus in Singapore. Interested candidates have to fill the application form to participate in GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship examination. The last date to fill the GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship application form is 28 February 2018.
The "No bond attached" GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship is offered to Class 10 academic toppers from around the world to study Junior College (11th and 12th). Around 10 students are offered this scholarship every year. Over 80 students have availed this program since its first batch in 2009. The Student if selected can pursue class 11 & 12 either in CBSE or IB Diploma at GIIS Queenstown Campus in Singapore.
S$ 90,000* per student, which includes tuition fees, boarding, lodging and travel expenses for the two-year scholarship programme.
The Result for GIIS Scholarship to study in Singapore will be declared after the Interviews are over. The result has been declared and 10 students have been selected from India. and the candidates would be informed about the result on phone/ email and also a hard copy of the selection letter would be sent. The students should make sure to give the correct number and email address while filling up the application form.

The GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship application form has to be submitted through the both online & offline mode. Both modes of application submission are mentioned below:
Online: Candidates can send the scanned copy of all documents along with the application form to the official email address of GIIS i.e. giisscholarship@gmail.com.
Offline: Candidates have to send the filled application form along with the required documents at the following address by 28 February 2018.

The selection of candidates will be based on the eligibility, scholarship examination, and the interview. Candidates who got selected on the basis of eligibility criteria have to participate in the written entrance test. The written test will be conducted on 31 March 2018. The selection process stages are mentioned below.
The written test will be conducted for Shortlisted candidates on 31 March 2018. Written Test Pattern includes the following:
Candidates who successfully clear the written examination will be called for a Skype interview (Elimination Round) and then for a Face-to-Face interview (Final Selection round). Board exam mark sheets should be provided on the declaration of results.

What is the flow of stipend and how is it provided?
The stipend flow is provided to ensure a comfortable stay for the student. The scholarship is provided promptly.
Can parents send money to their child?
Parents can send money to their wards. However, the amount provided is sufficient for students to meet their living expenses.
Can students visit their relatives?
Yes, they are allowed visit relatives with the approval from the warden. The warden shall provide and expedite the approval on receiving an email request from the parents of the ward.
What will the student do during the long vacations? Will they be allowed to come back to India during vacations?
Usually, students visit India during long vacations.
Is there any reason because of which the scholarship may be terminated?
If the student fails to perform on a good score (all-round) after being granted scholarship, a suitable warning will be issued. In case no improvement in the performance is noted, the scholarship may be terminated at the discretion of the management.
Can the students undertake part-time work while studying in Singapore?
No, part-time work is strictly prohibited.
