About CDAC National Painting Competition

CDAC National Level Painting Competition 2016 is organised by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC), Hyderabad for students of class 6 to 10. C-DAC was established in 1988 and is a research and development organisation under the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.  Last date to apply for CDAC National Level Painting Competition 2016 is November 30, 2016.

CDAC National Painting Competition - Theme and Specifications

Theme of the CDAC National Painting Competition 

The theme of CDAC National Painting Competition is information/ Cyber Security Awareness which includes the Internet Security,Mobile Security,ATM Security,Browser Security,Social Networking. Painting should be according to the concept. Candidates are required to write a para about the concept.

Specifications of the CDAC National Painting Competition

The size of the paper in which the participants will make paintings or drawing should be 11’’ X  16’’ inches and it should be A3 size drawing paper. The medium which the candidates should use for the painting or drawing can be  Poster Colours/Water Colours/Oil  Paintings. Candidates are not allowed to use Pencil, Sketches.

CDAC National Painting Competition Eligibility Criteria

Gender Both

Class/ Age Class 6-10
Details

The participants applying for the competition will be eligible if they meet the eligibility criteria given below:

  • The candidates must be an Indian citizen.
  • The competition is open to the students of class 6 to 10 studying in all the recognised State/Central  Government schools (State/CBSE/ICSE/NCERT) across the country.

CDAC National Painting Competition Reward

The three best paintings will be awarded at State Level and National Level. The winner of the CDAC National Painting competition 2016 will also be awarded with certificates and with the following cash prizes:

  • First Prize: Rs. 10,000
  • Second Prize: Rs. 5,000
  • Third Prize: Rs. 3,000

To receive the prize amount the participants should have student account or joint account with ID proof.

CDAC National Painting Competition Application form and Process

The Participation in the painting competition is possible only through school. Candidates should mention the following details on the back side of their painting:

  • Name of the Student
  • Date of Birth as per school records
  • Father's or Mother's Name
  • Class
  • Roll. No
  • School Name and Address with E-mail id
  • Signature of the Head of the Institution
  • School Telephone number
  • Telephone number of student (if any)
  • E-mail id of student (if any)
  • School Stamp

Submission of CDAC National Painting Competition

The participants of the CDAC National Painting Competition should ensure that the information provided by them at the back side of their painting are correct in all aspect. They should also ensure that their painting is theme based.

The participants need to send their painting to the address given below after mentioning all the information at the back side of the painting

CDAC National Painting Competition Selection Process

Candidates need to know that the selection done by the committee is final and binding and no request to the re-evaluation of the competition will be entertained under any circumstances.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the criteria given below:

  • The entries send by the candidates must be based on the given theme only
  • The initial selection of the candidates will be done by the School Authorities.
  • The best three paintings would be selected by each participating school by the School Head Masters/Head Mistress/ Head of the institutions or concerned authorities
