AICTE Scholarship 2019 for GATE/GPAT Qualified Students

AICTE PG Scholarship 2019 will be provided to those candidates who cleared the GATE/GPAT examination. AICTE Scholarship will provide financial support to those candidates who deserve it. Candidates have to follow a few steps to get AICTE PG Scholarship. This scholarship scheme is formed by ‘The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)’. AICTE PG Scholarship Eligible Courses
The scholarship is for students who have taken admission in AICTE Approved Institutes in Following Courses:

1. ME
2. MTech
3. M.Pharm
4. M.Arch.

The main objective of AICTE is to develop quality technical education and offer financial help to bright students through their AICTE GATE/GPAT Scholarship scheme, the duration of the scholarship scheme is a maximum of 24 months. All the Institutes shall upload the eligible PG Student’s details on the AICTE portal and distribute student’s Unique ID generated by the system to all the PG students admitted in AICTE approved Institutions during 2019-20.

AICTE PG Scholarship 2019 Dates

Duration of the Scholarship is 24 months or until the completion of the course whichever is early.

• Admissions before or after GATE/GPAT validity shall not be considered for GATE/GPAT scholarship.
• GATE/GPAT scholarship shall be given from the date of commencement of classes/date of admission (whichever is later) to completion of courses/date of submission of the thesis.

Bank Account Details for Disbursement of AICTE PG Scholarship

• Bank account name and candidate name should be the same.
• Joint accounts are not permitted for GATE/GPAT scholarship.
• The student must have a general saving account in the bank. (no-frills account will not be accepted)

Candidates who are eligible for AICTE GATE/GPAT Scholarship 2019 have to follow a few steps to get this scholarship. The scholarship amount will be transferred into the candidate’s bank account. Steps for AICTE Scholarship Application Process

Candidates can click on the link available on this page and click on 'Get Student ID' after checking the institute list. Follow the process given below:

STEP 1: Get Institute ID: Candidates are required Institute ID to fill the Registration Form. The Institute ID will be available on the AICTE Portal.

STEP 2: Get PG Student ID: Candidates have to get their Student ID for the further process. Candidates must fill some details in a given section to get their ID.

STEP 3: Student ID Verification (Part1): Candidates have to verify their id by filling out the related details.

After submitting the details, a new page will be displayed on the screen. In this page, candidates have to fill their GATE/GPAT exam details as well as their bank detail, address, and personal details.

STEP 4: Upload Documents: Candidates have to attach the scanned copy of the required documents in the registration form. The list of required documents is mentioned below.

Documents Required for AICTE PG Scholarship Registration 

• Photo Copy of GATE/GPAT Score Card (Mandatory)
• Photo Copy of Bank Passbook (Mandatory)
• Category Certificate (Mandatory if ‘Category as per GATE/GPAT scorecard’ is ‘OBC’ or ‘SC’ or ‘ST’ or ‘PD’)
• A scanned PDF copy of the Aadhaar card. Students of J&K, Meghalaya and Assam are exempted.
• Physically Disabled Certificate (Mandatory if ‘Physically Disabled’)
• Scanned PDF copy of the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate in respect of only OBC candidates. Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) should not be old for more than 1 year.
