The Hindu Aha Guru Physics Challenge 2

• The Hindu AhaGuru Physics Challenge 2 is being organized by The Hindu & AhaGuru
  • AhaGuru is an online coaching provider for classes 8 to 12 for Physics, Maths & Chemistry
• The Hindu AhaGuru Physics Challenge 2 is for the students of classes 8 to 12, where the students will be able to learn using the videos available on the website, complete their lessons and participate in the online tests.
  • These skills that they learn will help them succeed in school, competitive exams like IIT JEE and beyond.
  • The Test will be conducted in online & offline mode (Only in 6 centres)
• In order to participate in the Challenge, students are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 999 after which they will get access to the related study material.
• The competition will be organized in 2 categories:
  • Junior- for Class 8-10: The topics for the Junior Group will be
    
    • Force  
    • Atom & Mass
  • Senior- for Class 11 &12: The topics for the Senior Group will be
    • Projectile Motion
    • Newton’s Law of Motion.
• AhaGuru Physics Challenge Test Date: October 25, 2015.

The participants of the Hindu AhaGuru Physics Challenge 2 will get various prizes based on their performance in the Challenge. The details of the prizes are as follow:

• Performance Grades & Certificates: The students will be given grades and will be awarded certificates based on their performance in the Online Test. 
• Attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners.
• Certificate: Participation / Merit / Winner certificates from The Hindu & AhaGuru
• Subscription of Weekly Practise Papers: All participants will get a three months free subscription to AHAGuru's Weekly Practice Problems (WPP)  with a scorecard of performance sent online
• Online course study material: Each participant will get access to the same topics as the Challenge Exam (CBSE + IIT prep material).
  • The courses are in-depth and promote problem-solving and higher-order thinking for students preparing for school and competitive exams

The students willing to participate in The Hindu AhaGuru Physics Challenge 2 are required to register for the challenge and take the test. The details of the registration process are as follows:

• Step 2- Payment of Fee: Once the student has entered their details such as Email id, Name, Phone number, School and city, they will be taken to the next page where they will have to make the online payment of the registration fee of Rs.999.
  • Online Payment: Fees for Registration can be paid only online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, Cash Card, Paymate Mobile payments, Wallets (Paytm, Mobiwik, Payzap, Jana Cash)
• Step 3- Online Learning & test: Once the students are registered, they can start learning from the online course and prepare for the test to be conducted on October 25, 2015.

• The online courses for the Challenge topics will be made available immediately. Students can take practice tests to test their understanding.

• Admit Card & Test Centre-  Hall Ticket and Test Centre details will be emailed 2 days prior to the exam.
• Offline or Online Test: After Registration the participants will have the option of choosing between a Paper-based test or an Online test. The Offline Test is available for only the following cities.

Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Cochin, Madurai, Trichy

• All details regarding the Online test will be available in the Hall Ticket.

Exam Pattern

• The Test will contain 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
• The Online Test will have questions based on Reasoning and calculations.
