Young India Fellowship (YIF) has invited applications for the second of round of admission for its post graduate programme in Liberal Studies and Leadership at Ashoka University for the academic session 2015-16.
The application forms for the second round of admissions begun on December 16, 2014 and will end on February 28, 2015.
Admission process
The admission process for a session takes place in two rounds of admissions. The first round of admissions began on September 5, 2014 and has received more than 1500 applications. The classes for the 2015-16 session will begin from July 15, 2015.
The programme is open to students throughout the country from diverse disciplines. The fellows receive training on a diverse set of subjects from the world’s finest teachers.
About YIF
The one-year fellowship trains youngsters to become change agents for the future. The fellowship is offered as a tie-up between University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering & Applied Sciences and Ashoka University.
The YIF certificates are co-signed by the dean of University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering & Applied Sciences.The alumni body of the Fellowship is 254-strong and the present batch comprises 195 fellows.
