UP Board Exams 2017 to be Rescheduled by UPMSB. The examination commission has directed the UP board to reschedule class 10 & 12 exams, taking advice from Chief Electorate Officer of the state. The decision was taken by the board due to upcoming UP elections, class 10 & 12 exam dates have been shifted and the invigilators are assigned to work in election duties as well as board exams. The board is hoping this decision will reduce the problem. Previously, the UP board had decided to start Class 10 and 12 exams from 16 February 2017.
The High school and Intermediate examination are conducted by the UP board annually and simultaneously all over the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Previous UP Board timetable for Class 10 and 12
- Class 10 exams were scheduled to be held between February 16 and March 6
- Class 12 exams were scheduled to be conducted between February 16 and March 20.
- The practical exams were to start from December 22 and conclude within January 20, 2017.
This timetable was issued last week but for now, it stands cancelled as the board have decided to reschedule the examination time table. The new timetable is expected to be released by the end of December 2016.
UP Board Exam 2017
In the year 2017, more than 60 lakh students are likely to appear in class 10 and 12 exams and the examination will be conducted all around the state. Furthermore, about 3404571 students have registered for Class 10 exams and 2624681 students have registered for Class 12 exams for UP Board examination.
The UP Board started working from the year 1921 in Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council and the board was conducted the first examination in 1923. The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh is the Uttar Pradesh state government administered autonomous examining authority for the class 10 examination (or secondary school level examination) and class 12 examination (or inter-college level examination) of Uttar Pradesh, India.
