Have you all noticed the fascinating doodle on the homepage of Google on Children’s day this year? It is quite interesting to know that the doodle introduced on that day was created by an 11-year-old girl. Anvita Prashant Telang, who lives in Pune. Anvita is a sixth-grade student at Vibgyor High School, Balewadi. She won the ‘Doodle 4 Google’ contest for her artwork, which she calls ‘Enjoy Every Moment’. The fascinating thing about the doodle created by her is that it focuses on the simple things in life that lead to happiness.

  • This year the theme of the Google Doodle Contest was, "If I could teach anyone anything, it would be..." Anvita responded with the following statement and illustration: ‘Enjoy Every Moment’.

  • She added, “In the current stressful times, greatest joys of life are often hidden in simple things, thus I would like to teach everyone to take time to enjoy every moment of life and appreciate the simple things around us.” The Doodle represents greeneries, water, water life, balloons, making it a lovely vibrant picture.

In an interview Sapna Chadha, Head of Marketing, Google India said that “It’s heartening to see the messages that these young minds wish to communicate with such creativity.” This was Google India’s 8th edition of the contest. Google India received entries from over 50 cities and Anvita Prashant Telang was chosen the winner after 10 days of voting. The entries were evaluated on their artistic merit, creativity and theme communication as well as their unique and novel approach to the Doodle.
