CHSE Odisha Class 12 Exam: 3.80 Lakh students will appear in Board Exams 2017 in Odisha, The Board Exams have started from 6 March 2017 and students are really preparing hard to get the merit scores.  On Monday i.e. 6 March 2017, First board exam of English took place where more than 3.8 Lacs students have appeared out of which 2.4 lac students were from the Arts Stream. Council of Higher Education (CHSE) Odisha has installed cameras so as to prevent students from cheating and more than 1100 test centres have been chosen for the convenience of the candidates.

  • To check the question paper leak, CCTV cameras have been installed at the exam management hubs apart from the tight security set up.
  • 1,106 examination centres have been allotted for the Odisha CHSE Plus II examination. The timing of the examination is 10 am to 1 pm.

For the first time, observers appointed for the annual Class 12 exam will stay put at the centres from the beginning of the session until the end. The number of students who will appear for the different streams is given in the table below.

What have the School and Mass Education Minister to say?

According to the School and Mass Education minister Debi Prasad Mishra "To constrain malpractice in the exam, more than 50 squads have been formed for checking. Besides, central squads and CHSE regional directors at different zones will visit the exam centres. Preparatory meetings have been held in presence of district administration officials, resource person and centre administrator. We expect the exam will be conducted peacefully across the State."

Important Instructions for CHSE Odisha Board Exam 2017

  • Candidates appearing for the Odisha CHSE Plus II examination 2017 should read the time table of the examination carefully.
  • All candidates appearing for the Odisha Board exam are required to bring the original printout of the hall ticket, failing to comply with the given instruction would amount to the candidates not entertained to sit for the exam.
  • All the candidates are required to reach the venue well in advance. It is necessary to report half an hour before the commencement of the exam.
  • No candidate would be allowed to carry mobile phones, calculator, digital watch or any gadget inside the examination hall.
  • No candidates would be allowed to talk or discuss in the examination, any candidates found doing so will be dealt with as per the norms of the university.
  • The use of the calculators, electronics and any kind of gadgets is strictly prohibited. The candidates will not be permitted to bring any of these things.
