National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) published a notice on December 29, 2015, according to which the date for submission of online claim bills for the session 2014-15 & 2015-16 has been extended to February 29, 2016.
The decision regarding the extension of the last date was taken because candidates were facing technical issues while uploading their bills due to glitches in the online software. The notice also states an alternate way for submission of the bill, that is via e-mail. All the candidates need to do is to send the claim bills to Scholarship.nts@gov.in within the extended time period i.e. before February 29, 2016. The e-mail submission has been there to avoid the unnecessary delays in the submission of the claim bills.
For the session 2015-16, the first stage of the NTSE was conducted on November 08, 2015 while the second stage will be conducted by NCERT on May 08, 2016. The students who appeared in the Stage 1 examination can check their state-wise NTSE Result as soon as it is declared.
