The Result of the National ICT award for school teachers was declared on August 14, 2015. Out of the Total Application received ONLY 9 candidates have been selected who will be known as National ICT Awrdees . The process of selection began soon after the entries were received from different states/UT’s and autonomous organizations.
Process of Selection
Before the Final selection a meeting of the Awards committee was organized at NCERT New Delhi wherein the committee members interacted with the nominated teachers and thereafter shortlisted the 9 awardees and recommended the same names to the MHRD, Govt. of India for consideration and approval.
Award Distribution Ceremony
The Ceremony for giving the National ICT Awards has been scheduled to be conducted on September 5, 2015 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The National ICT Award Winners are allowed to bring only ONE escort with them.
Expenses to be borne by NCERT
NCERT will bear all the expenditure towards participation in the ceremony including TA/DA, local conveyance etc. Even the travel expenses of the escort will also be borne by NCERT. Accommodation for the selected candidates and their escorts has been done in NIE Guest House, NCERT, New Delhi.
As the Entry to the ceremony venue is restricted to one Escort per awardee. Hence, the selected candidates are required to mail the name, address and relationship of the escort within one week. Candidates have to carry their Identity Cards and Identity proof of themselves as well as that of Escorting Person.
