Haryana Universities MBA Admission 2017 will be based on CAT scores. Various Officials of the Haryana State Universities have decided to take their MBA Admission on the basis of Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the IIM by 2017. After the meeting held at Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani, the decision was implemented to introduce CAT Scores based admissions procedure for all Universities under the Haryana Higher Education Department. The admissions will not be granted to the applicants without the applicable and a valid CAT Scores.
Haryana State Universities to accept CAT scores
The universities in Haryana listed below will be now accepting CAT Scores 2017 onwards to the admission to their various programmes in management as per the orders of the higher authorities and the applicants without the valid score card of CAT Exam will not be accepted here in these universities.
- Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani
- Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyala, Khanpur Kalan
- Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa
- Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind
- Kurukshetra University- The CAT scores will be used for the admission into Commerce, Economics, Management, Social Work, Journalism, Law, Political Science and Public Administration, English, Hindi, Geography, History, Physical Education and Psychology Departments
- Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak: This University will use CAT scores for the admission into Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences including Botany, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science and Zoology-Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
About CAT Exam
CAT Exam will be conducted for admission to various Post Graduation Management programs in IIMs and various other Indian universities and colleges. The Decision of the Haryana State Universities was that the admission of the candidates would be based on the marks obtained by them in the CAT examination.
CAT exam will be based on MCQ’s, and there will be negative marking as well. The Universities will be conducting Online as well as spot counselling for the admission; primarily admission process will be focused on the CAT Exam.
