DU FMS Summer Internship Package Touches 1.5 Lakh. Students of Financial Management Studies (DU FMS) at Delhi University have 100% placement in the summer internship and the students will earn highest Rs 1.5 Lakh per month. All the students were offered internship who participated in the placement drive. The median stipend was Rs 75000 per month.
- According to the summer placement report prepared by the student body in charge of placements, the “uncertain economic conditions” may have contributed to the severe fall in the highest stipend amount. Despite this, all the 210 students of the first-year MBA batch have managed to get an internship for the summer internship with the “lowest of the lowest” stipend amounting to ten thousand rupees.
All the eligible students received internship offers with the average monthly stipend rising to Rs 78000 per month, an 8% increase compared to the previous year. Total 75 companies offered the internship to the DU FMS students. This year DU FMS recorded an 80% increase in the number of offers from the companies such as Clodtail, Uber and Amazon.

“Most offers were from marketing followed by finance. 30% of the total offers mad3e by fast moving consumer goods, durable firms,” the report said. The report says top 50% of the students received an average monthly stipend of Rs 97143 and as many as 43 candidates have the monthly stipend of over Rs 1 Lakh and the average monthly stipend for female students were Rs 85250.
FMS has total 226 seats including 26 supernumerary seats in the MBA programs and the FMS department received 20000 applications for admission in management programs. Summer internship is not a guarantee for job but this is a way for job after students finish their courses. Till this year, the highest package offered to Students for the International market is Rs 1.02 Crore to the while highest domestic package stood at Rs 66 Lakh.
