As a way of making education abroad easy for Indian students, the Anglo Schools for International Service have set up a Rs 7 crore scholarship fund for Indian students who are interested in pursuing their further education in the United Kingdom. This association is a federation of leading board schools in United Kingdom.
Earlier Indian students, who were finding it difficult to get into the Indian schools, have a new way out and a particularly good one at that! It said: "Many ASIS federation school see all students get into their first choice University." These schools are offering scholarships upto 25%-100%.
"In the UK it can cost around £200 to register to take an entrance exam for each school you apply to. But ASIS have changed this. With one charge of £250 you register for all the schools in the federation at once and sit a common entrance exam in India rather than in the UK," the ASIS said.
