The High Commission of India is offering eight scholarships to Sri Lankan students for UG/PG/Ph.D courses in Unani, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha and Yoga under ‘Ayush Scholarship Scheme’ for the academic year 2014-15.
The Government of India shall select meritorious Sri Lankan Nationals for the purpose of this scholarship after consulting the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Government of Sri Lanka.
The students shall be allowed to pursue higher education courses in the most renowned Universities of India. The scholarship shall cover full tuition fees, monthly sustenance allowance for entire duration of the course, accommodation allowance and an annual grant for books and stationary during the duration of the course. Apart from these allowances, all ICCR scholars shall also be provided with full healthcare facilities.
