How will GPAT result 2019 be calculated?
The marks displayed in GPAT score card 2019 will be calculated on the basis of the official marking scheme set by NTA. According to the GPAT exam pattern:
- 4 marks are allotted for every correct answer,
- 1 mark will be deducted for an incorrect response
- 0 marks for unanswered questions
GPAT Merit List 2019
Based on the scores obtained in the GPAT 2019, the merit list will be released. The scores will be evaluated based on the marking scheme of GPAT, as mentioned above. The merit list will display the following details of the candidates:
- Rank secured
- Candidate name
- Roll number
- Category
- Total score obtained
- Percentile
- Qualifying status
GPAT Result 2019 - Tie-breaking method
It must be noted that there is no tie-breaking method to resolve the ties. In case more than one candidate has secured the same scores, then they will be allotted same rank sorting based on their names alphabetically and date of birth in the merit list. For example: If three students have secured AIR 25, then the subsequent student will be ranked as AIR 28.
GPAT Result 2019 - Important Points
- GPAT 2019 score will be valid for a period of three years from the date of result announcement, for PG admissions
- Accordingly, the score card of GPAT 2019 will be valid for the purpose of applying for a scholarship in M.Pharm course
- Only qualified candidates will be considered eligible to apply for AICTE scholarship (PG) and NDF scholarship. However, the award of the scholarship is subject to AICTE rules and regulations
