JEECE Result for the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination has been released on 21 May 2017 on the official website. However, the link to check the result will also be available on this page as soon as it is available officially on 22 May 2017. The candidates who have appeared in the JEECE Exam can check their result here.

JEECE Entrance Exam was conducted on 13 May 2017 for the admission in Engineering programme i.e. for B.Tech/ B.E courses admission in State Universities/ Colleges / Institutions in the academic session 2017-18. The JEECE Result has been declared on 22 May 2017, and the candidates can check the result on the official website by following the link.The candidates are suggested to keep themselves updated on the website of the motachashma for all the latest update. Candidates have to follow the link given below to check the JEECE Result 2017.

The candidates need to know that the answer key will be evaluated with extreme care. Therefore, rechecking of the answer sheet will not be considered. The merit list on the basis of the score obtained by the candidates and the counselling will be held thereafter.

JEECE Result

JEECE Entrance Exam Tie Breaking

In case two or more candidates score the same marks, then the tie between them will be broken and the inter se merit of such candidates shall be determined according to the following:

  1. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Mathematics in the Examination.
  2. Candidates obtaining higher marks in Physics in the examination.
  3. Candidates older in age.
  4. As per the English alphabetical order of the first name.

JEECE Counselling 2017

The computerised online counselling would be conducted by the Board. The information about the same is given on this page. The counselling will be held in two rounds. The two of the rounds are described below.

First Round of JEECE Counselling

  • After publication of the result, the candidates will be called for the first counselling as per the merit rank. The exact dates and time for the counselling are yet to be released by the Jharkhand Board.
  • During the counselling, the candidates will be allowed to select the Institute and Course of their choice only after the scrutiny of all the required original certificated/ documents and satisfying his/ her identity.

Second Round of JEECE Counselling

  • After the seats remain vacant after the first round of counselling, the second round of counselling will be held.
  • In this counselling, the candidates who have admitted through the first round of counselling may also participate to change their Course/ Stream and Institute.

Documents to carry for JEECE 2017

  • Admit card of JEECE 2017 Engineering Entrance Exam.
  • Original copies of all the documents.
  • Self-arrest d copies of the documents.
  • Admit Card /Marksheet/ Passing Certificate of 10th class.
  • Admit Card /Marksheet /Passing Certificate of 12th class.
  • Local residential certificate issued by SDO.
  • Caste certificate issued by SDO.
  • Income certificate by SDO.
  • One passport size photograph.
  • Medical certificate issued by CMO/Hospital/ superintendent.
  • Dependency certificate issued by army officer or district soldier.
  • School leaving certificate is not required at the time of counselling.


JEECE Counselling Fee 2017

The candidates who have called for the counselling have to pay the counselling fee to participate in the counselling. The counselling fee is different for each category which is given in the table below. The candidates have to make the payment of the counselling fee through the Challan/ IPO
