Eligibility Criteria

BTech

Pass in the plus two examinations of the State of Kerala
or
any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together

Instrumentation Technology

Pass in the plus two (12th) examination of any state/national board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or any other examination accepted as equivalent by CUSAT with at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together and with at least 55% in Mathematics separately

Naval Architecture and Ship Building

Pass in Plus Two (10+2) examination conducted in  Kerala
or
The examination of any other University/ Board accepted by the University as equivalent thereto in First Class (60% marks) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects of study and with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics  as  well  as  for  Mathematics,  Physics and Chemistry put together

Polymer Science and Engineering

Pass in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together

B Tech Marine Engineering

(Residential Programme)

  • Pass in the Plus Two Examination of the State of Kerala or any other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% marks and Minimum 50% forMathematicsalone. Should have passed English at 10th or 12th Standards with 50% marks   (applicable to SC/ST candidates also) Vocational/Diploma students are not eligible to apply.
  • Maximum age limit prescribed is 25 years as on 1st   September of the year of admission

Master of Science (5 Year Integrated) in Photonics

  • Pass in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subject or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together

5-year B.Com LLB (Hons) and 5 years BBA LLB (Hons)

  • At the time of admission the candidate should have passed plus two exams with at least 60% marks including languages in Science group/Commerce group or with at least 55% marks including languages in Arts / Humanities stream.
  • Should not have completed 20 years of age as on1st July of the year of admission; 22 years in the case of SC / ST and SEBC candidates.

3 year LLB (Regular - Evening) (only for graduates)

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 55% aggregate marks in any discipline of a University recognised by CUSAT (50% for SC/ST/OBC).
  • Only candidates who are permanent employees of the State Governments/ Central Government or a State Government / Central Government Undertaking or a Statutory Body working within a radius of 30km from the CUSAT, Thrikkakara campus shall be considered for admission provided such candidates have obtained a No Objection Certificate from the employer.

MSc in Mathematics

BSc degree with Mathematics main with at least 55% marks for optional subjects taken together

MSc in Physics

B.Sc degree with Physics main  and Mathematics subsidiary with at least 55% marks in physics

MSc in Chemistry

B.Sc degree with Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/ Environmental Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/ Petrochemicals (main) with Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects with at least 55% marks in the main subject

MSc in Statistics

  • B.Sc degree in Mathematics or Statistics main with at least 55% marks for optional subjects taken together
  • The candidates with Mathematics as the main subject should have studied Statistics as subsidiary / main paper

MSc in Computer Science

Pass with not less than 60% marks in recognised regular bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications/ Computer Science and Eng. of minimum 3 years duration

MSc in Electronic Science

B.Sc degree in Electronics/ Electronic Science with a First Class (or 60% Marks) from any recognised university or institution

MSc in Instrumentation

B.Sc Degree in Instrumentation / Physics / Electronics with at least 60% marks from any recognized University

MSc in Hydrochemistry

B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as subsidiaries or B.Sc. The degree of any University in Kerala with Polymer Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/Petrochemicals/ Environment and Water Management as the main subject and Mathematics and Physics/ Computer Science as subsidiaries, with a minimum of 55% marks in the respective main subject.

MSc in Oceanography

B.Sc degree with Physics/ Mathematics as the main subject with 55% marks

Those with Mathematics as the main subject should have studied Physics as one of the subsidiaries and vice-versa

MSc in Meteorology

Pass in B Sc. in Physics with Mathematics / Mathematics with Physics/ Computer Science with Physics and Mathematics/ Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics with at least 55% marks

MSc in Marine Geology

B.Sc degree in Geology/Physics/Chemistry  with at least 60% aggregate marks

MSc in Marine Geophysics

B.Sc degree in Geology/Physics with Mathematics as one of the subjects and at least 60% aggregate marks

MSc in Environmental Technology Stream 1: Environmental Engg)

Graduate in Chemistry with Physics and Mathematics as subsidiaries or graduate in Engineering (Civil/Public Health/ Environmental or Chemical) with 55% marks (50% in the case of SC/ST candidates) in optional subjects in the qualifying exam and a valid rank in the CAT, conducted by the university

Graduate in Life Sciences/ Environmental Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology with 55% marks (50% in the case of SC/ST candidates) in optional subjects in the qualifying exam and a valid rank in the CAT, conducted by the University

MSc in Biotechnology

Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Life        Sciences including Agricultural and Medical Sciences/Chemical Sciences/ Chemical Engg with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

MSc in Marine Biology

B.Sc degree in any branch of Life Sciences such as Aquaculture, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Microbiology, Zoology etc as the main subject or BSc degree in Fishery Science with at least 55% marks in the optional subjects

MSc in Industrial Fisheries

Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/Zoology/Botany with at least 55% marks in the optional subjects. Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries includes Industrial Fisheries/Aquaculture/Fishery Science/Industrial Fish and Fisheries/BFSc (Nautical Science)

Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) in Seafood Safety and Trade

  • Bachelor's degree in  Fisheries/Food  Technology/Food Science/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Zoology with at least 55% marks in optional subjects. Bachelor's degree in Fisheries includes Industrial Fisheries / Aquaculture / Fishery Science /Industrial Fish and Fisheries / BFSc (Nautical Science).
  • Bachelor's degree in Food  Technology/ Food Science includes BTech / B.E. / B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology/Food Science and   Management/Food   Science   /   Food   Technology   /Food Processing Technology / Food Science and Quality Control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food  Technology/ Food Science includes BTech / B.E. / B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology/Food Science and   Management/Food Science/Food   Technology/Food Processing Technology / Food Science and Quality Control.

MA in Hindi Language and Literature

B.A. /B.Sc. degree with Hindi as a subject of study with at least 45% marks in Hindi

MA in Applied Economics

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Economics with 55% marks in part III (Economics and Subsidiaries) or 60% marks with B.Com, BBA, BBM with Economics as one of the subjects or B.Sc.
  • Mathematics or Statistics with 65% marks. Pass for SC/ ST candidates.

 MCA Regular/MCA Cost Sharing/MCA Regular/MCA Cost Sharing

 Any Science graduate with Mathematics as one of the subjects or graduate inElectronics/ Information Technology/Computer Science / Computer Applications/ Engineering/Technology with aggregate 55% marks in all subjects other than language and humanities.

 MBA(Full Time)

Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate

 

MBA (Part Time)

  • Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate.
  • 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates having 3 years of supervisory/executive experience after taking the degree.
  • In the absence of such candidates as mentioned in (ii) vacancies will be offered to any other candidates satisfying eligibility as per

  • In the absence of Students from disciplines mentioned above students with Bachelor’s Degree in Law shall be considered.

 M Voc. Mobile Phone Application Development

  • Engineering graduates with 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the branches of Information Technology/Computer Science/ Electronics and Communication or candidates with 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science degree or in BCA/B.Sc.
