IISER Result 2016

IISER Result 2017- JEE 1st Round Allotment List Declared on13 July

IISER Result 2017 for admission to BS - MS has been declared on 4 July 2017 by the conducting body for the IISER Aptitude Test scheduled to be conducted on 25 June 2017. The candidates can check their IISER Result 2017 on this page, the link to check the result is also available on this page. After the declaration of the result, the seat allocation will be done. The selected candidates will have to log in and download the Offer Letter from the official website of IISER. 

Please log in to the application portal to download your offer letter. The offer has to accepted by paying Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) by 5 p.m. (17:00 hrs) on 15 July 2017. You can participate in subsequent float rounds ONLY if you pay the SAF by this deadline.

JEE first round allocations have been announced on 13 July 2017. Candidates from JEE channel can check the seat allotment list by following the given link.

Those who have been allotted seat must download their offer letter by logging on the application portal.These candidates have to accept this offer by paying a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) by 16 July 2017, 23:59 hrs.

It is to be noted that only those candidates will be considered for the Float Round who have paid the SAF by 16 July 2017.

IISER Result 2017 for the JEE and SCB channel candidates has been declared on 4 July 2017. The candidates who had appeared in the entrance exam or are looking forward to taking admission on the basis of JEE can check their IISER result 2017 here. The IISER will do the allocation of the seats after the declaration of the result.

The result is in the form of the roll number so the candidate has to check the roll number to know whether they have been selected for the further rounds of admission.The Result is based on IISER Answer Keys.

IISER Result 2017 - Download Call Letter


The selected candidates can download their IISER call letters from IISER Website. To download the call letters the candidate will have to log in and on the official website of IISER or follow the given link. 

IISER Selection Process 2017 After Result

Up to 50% of the seats at IISER are filled through KVPY & JEE Advanced Channel and remaining seats through State and Central Boards (SCB) channel based on IISER Aptitude Test. The seat distribution for each channel is given below.

  • JEE Advanced: Appearing in 2017 and secures a rank in the merit list.
  • State and Central Boards: On the basis of IISER Aptitude test conducted by Joint Admission Committee of the IISERs

Note: The cut-off percentages may be lowered depending on the results announced by various boards in May 2017 before the application portal opens

The above cut-off are the General category only Relaxation in the eligibility criteria for other categories are as follows:

  • OBC Non-Creamy Layer Category: 5% below the cut-off percentage
  • SC/ ST/ KM category: 55% for all boards
  • PD category: 5% below the cut-off percentage
