NEET Result 2018

NEET Result 2018 is supposed to be declared in the third week of June 2018. After the releasing of the result, the candidates will manage to download their Rank card and the Scorecards of NEET 2018 exam scheduled to be conducted in the month of May 2018. NEET 2018 is carried out by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in Medical/ Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India (MCI) and Dental Council of India. Along with the NEET Result, the NEET Answer Key will also be displayed with an option to exercise the challenging of the answer keys. Admitting Colleges/ Universities will draw the merit list based on All India Rank for the MBBS/ BDS seats falling under their jurisdiction. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made it clear that the NEET 2018 result sheet/ rank cards would not be dispatched individually to the candidates. So the candidates have to check their result online and generate the print out of their result/ rank card.

NEET Result is likely to be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education in the third week of June 2018. The result will be available only for those candidates who appeared in NEET Exam. To check the NEET Result, the candidates have to enter their Roll Number and Date of Birth. The link to check the result will be available on this page after the declaration of the result. Once the result will be out, the candidates will be able to download their rank card or score card.

NEET 2017 Result

The candidates should know that the CBSE has collaborated with DigiLocker. Therefore NEET 2018 result will also be available on “DigiResults” website. For admission to Govt. Colleges the candidate need not fill any other application form but the private colleges accepting NEET score may require filling up the additional application form, and the student should take care of that.

Challenge the response against NEET OMR grading


The candidates must note that there is no provision for re-checking/ re-evaluation of the NEET result. This is simply because the answer sheets are machine - gradable and are evaluated with extreme care and are repeatedly scrutinised by the board.  Therefore, no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

However, the candidates will be given an opportunity to submit representation against the OMR grading on payment of Rs.1000 per response challenged. The board will refund the amount of payment made by the candidates if the board accepts the challenge.

NEET Rank card 2018 after NEET Result Declaration


CBSE will be issuing the Digital NEET Rank Letter through DigiLocker this year. When issued by CBSE, the meritorious candidates (qualified under 15% All India quota seats) will be able to download their rank letters from DigiLocker.

About Digilocker: DigiLocker is Government of India's secure cloud-based platform for storage, sharing and verification of documents and certificates. DigiLocker is partnering with CBSE to publish students' academic documents in digital format.

  • The candidates have to sign up for DigiLocker account using your Aadhaar number to access it. If you already have a DigiLocker account, please make sure to link your Aadhaar number to your account.
  • The Board has prepared the merit list/ wait list as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, DGHS, MCI and DCI.

In 2016 there were more than 8 Lac applicants who have applied for the NEET Exam which has been extended to approx 12 Lac for the year 2017, In 2017 there were more than 10.5 Lac students who have applied for the NEET 2017 Exam out of which around 1.25 lakh to 1.50 lakh students appeared in eight vernacular languages —Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Oriya and Kannada.
