About Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU): AKTU was formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is a public university that was set up by the Uttar Pradesh Government in the year May 8, 2000. The university was bifurcated into Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University on 1 May 2010, for proper management and later on the name was changed to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University on 18 September 2015. The UPSEE result for the Academic Session of 2018-19 has been declared on 31 May 2018.
