Candidate can check his/her UPCAT Result from the official website. To download the UPCAT result card, the candidate will need his/her credentials. The candidate has to enter the Roll Number and Date of Birth to view the result.
UPCAT Merit List: After the declaration of result, UPCAT merit list would also be posted on the official website. Candidate must note that there will be no re-evaluation made on the merit list and it would be a final verdict. Candidates who secure a minimum of 50% marks in UPCAT DENTAL 2016 exam shall only be considered eligible for admission to the BDS course.
In case of a tie
If the candidates have same UPCAT score, the governing body conducting and assessing the exam will consider the following parameters to judge the right choice of the meritorious student.
- Less number of wrong answers given by the candidate.
- Collaborated marks scored in chemistry and biology in the entrance.
- Marks in Biology in the entrance.
- Age of the candidate, the older one gets the first preference.
UPCAT Dental Rank Card
Students can easily download the UPCAT rank card and based on the ranks they would be getting the chance to get admitted into the best colleges among the 21 that are availed in the entrance exam list.
Candidates must note that individual UPCAT result cards will not be sent to the candidates. It is important that the candidate download the Result card from the official website.
Admission Process under UPCAT Dental
The admission of the most suitable candidate would be streamlined by the principal/ head of the respective college. It is important that the candidates applying for the BDS courses are carrying the following documents.
- High school certificates as proof of date of birth.
- Marksheet of Class 10 & Class 12 examination.
- Certificate of the Class 10 & Class 12 examination.
- Migration certificate
- Character certificate from school / college last attended.
- Admit/Allotment card of the UPCAT DENTAL 2016.
- Six passport size photographs.
- Affidavits as mentioned in this brochure.
UPCAT counselling
At the time of counselling, candidates would be allotted the seat based on the counselling and the ranks that they have secured. The admission process would commence after the counselling, every candidate is required to actively participate in the counselling session.
As per the government of India, it is important for the colleges to ensure that the completion of the admission process is taking before 30 September 2016. In case any seats falling vacant, no further arrangements would be made to streamline the admission any further.
