NID Result 2018 - Final Result for B.Des/ GDPD ^NEW

NID DAT BDes/ GDPD final result has been declared on 31 May 2018. The candidates who appeared in the BDes/ GDPD mains exam conducted on 13 May 2018 can now check their score by searching for their name in the list. This is the final result of BDes/ GDPD declared by National Institute of Design. The result has been prepared based on the total of the weighted scores obtained by the candidate in each stage of the admissions process.

The weight age of each stage of the admission process will be as decided by the Institute. Merely obtaining a rank in NID Entrance Exam 2018 does not guarantee admission to the B. Des. The programme offered by NID Ahmedabad. Under no circumstances, request for a Hard Copy of the NID scorecard will be entertained and hence will not be sent to the qualified candidates.

How to check NID DAT BDes/ GDPD Result?

There are two ways to check the result of NID BDes/ GDPD. Both the ways are given below.

• The candidates are suggested to follow the link given on this page to view the result
• The candidates now have to provide their Email address, DOB and Roll number or provide the application form number and verification code.

• Click on "Submit" button to check the result.

NID Result 2018 - Check DAT M.Des Result

 NID DAT 2018 M.Des Mains Result is declared on 2 May 2018 for the prelims exam shortlisted candidates who appeared for the mains. Prelims result for M.Des course was declared on 15 February 2018. Only the shortlisted candidates appeared for the mains exam are able to check their result. The final result is based on the weightage of both the exams. NID DAT Result 2018- M.Des (Mains) Rechecking

National Institute of Design has started facility for rechecking for M.Des DAT Mains from 2 May 2018 (16:00 hrs) to 4 May 2018 (16:00 hrs). To apply for rechecking, candidates have to log in using the following credentials and submit rechecking request by following the given link.

NID Result 2018 - Check DAT (Prelims) B.Des Result

NID Result 2018 for B.Des (Prelim) is declared on 13 March 2018. The candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check the result. After the Declaration of DAT Prelims Result, the selected candidates will appear in Mains, and finally, NID DAT Mains Result will be declared for the shortlisted candidates. How to check the NID Result 2018

The candidate is required to enter one of the following Credentials to check their NID Result 2018. 

• Email Address, Date of Birth and Roll Number OR
• Email Address, Date of Birth and Application Form Number

• Your DAT (Prelims) Score: --- out of 100
• Your Rank In Open Merit List: ---

The candidates can opt for rechecking of NID Result and the procedure is given below.Any rechecking requests received without a signed copy of the Admit Card will NOT be considered valid.

Number of candidates shortlisted for Stage 2 

 For B.Design Course Admission - From the total number of applicants who have appeared for DAT, the Number of candidates to be called for Stage 2 or DAT Mains of the exam will be three point five (3.5) times the number of seats in that category for that programme or discipline.

For M.Design Course Admission -  From the total number of applicants who have appeared for DAT, the Number of candidates to be called for Stage 2 or DAT Mains of the exam will be five times the number of seats in that category for that programme or discipline.

NID B.Design Cut off Marks 

NID Merit List based on DAT or Stage 1

• Separate Merit Lists for each category General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST & PH will be prepared based on the scores obtained in DAT.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Studio Test (Stage 2).

NID Rechecking of DAT Prelims Answer Sheet

The candidates can request for the rechecking of the NID DAT Prelims. The request can be submitted on or before 1st week of March 2018 by 2 PM for BDesign and till 10 February for M.Design. To send the request, the candidates required to send the scanned copy of their DAT Prelims Admit Card (Part A) duly signed and stamped by the invigilator along with their request for rechecking by email to admissions@nid.edu

NID DAT Prelims Rechecking request will not be considered in the following case:

• Requests received without a signed copy of the Admit Card will not be considered valid
• Requests received from an email id other than the candidate's registered email id will be considered invalid.
• Requests received after the due date will not be considered under any circumstances

Evaluation will be done for following things:

• To know whether all the answers have been examined
• To know the mistakes in the totalling of marks for each question
• To know whether the marks have been transferred correctly onto the cover page of the answer booklet

Re-evaluation of NID Test papers

Requests for re-evaluation or reassessment of test paper/answer book will be restricted to verification of:

• checking whether all the answers have been examined
• that there is no mistake in the totalling of marks for each question in that test
• Transferring marks correctly on the first cover page of the answer book. 

NID Answer Keys

NID has already declared the answer keys for the exam conducted on 7 January 2018. The answer key can be viewed after logging into the NID portal. The candidates will get a fair idea of their performance by checking the answer keys. In case the candidate has doubt they can challenge the answer keys as well. NID Answer Keys.
