KCET 2018 Application Form - Apply Online

KCET 2018 Application Form will be available from 2nd week of January 2018 for admission into various undergraduate programs and other courses in Government University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided Professional Educational Institutions. KEA has released the KCET 2018 official brochure in which all the important information pertaining to the KCET Entrance exam, exam date, eligibility criteria, application process and exam mode are available. KCET 2018 Application Form can be filled in online mode only. There is no procedure for offline application. 

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for the year 2018 will be held on 18 & 19 April 2018 and the Kannada Language Test will be held on 20 April 2018.

Candidates have to fill the KCET Application form 2018 Online only. The applicants have to submit all the details as per their eligibility while filling the KCET application form Online.

KCET Application Process will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, candidates can fill the details and can edit the data any number of times and also can the draft printouts before selecting the declaration. 

In the Second Phase, the candidates have to select the declaration after confirming themselves that there are no changes to be incorporated or all the entries made by them in the online application are correct.

The stepwise
instructions are given for the candidates to fill the Application Form.

First Phase:

  • STEP 1: The candidates need to register themselves on the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority.

  • STEP 2: After clicking on the Register button, the candidates will have to provide all the required details on the registration form and submit. After successful registration, the candidates will receive an application number and User-ID to their registered mobile phone number and email-id. 
  • STEP 3: A Login Prompt will be displayed and the candidates are required to enter the USER ID and Password created by them and Login.
  • STEP 4: On Succesful Login by the candidates "Student information" will be displayed, in which the candidates have to start entering the required information.
  • STEP 5: Once the candidates complete the student information entries, they will have to save the entries made.
  • STEP 6: The candidates will enter all the study details and select "save and next" button.
  • STEP 7: After Succesful saving the study details, the candidates will have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, left-hand Thumb impression and parent signature and select " save and next" button.

After completing all the above-given steps of Phase 1, the candidates will have to take the draft print out, they need to carefully verify all the details entered by them and do the required changes if necessary by login in any number of times before selecting the Declaration in phase 2.

Second Phase

In the Second phase of KCET Application Form 2018, the candidates will have to select the declaration, read and understand it completely and then select "Submit" button. After the submission, the candidates must select the bank challan, download and take a print-out of the challan and make the payment in the respective bank.

No further changes can be made in the Second phase after the candidates have selected the "Declaration".

Things to be kept Ready before filling KCET 2018 Application Form

Candidates should have a valid personal mobile phone number and or a personal E-Mail id.

Photo, Signature and Left-Hand Thumb Impression 

  • Format: JPG/JPEG Format
  • All files should be greater than 5KB and less than 40 KB
  • Image Dimension: 3.5cm * 4.5 cm
  • Signature and Left Thumb impression Dimension: 3.5 cm * 1.5 cm
  • Signature/ Left thumb impression of Parents/ guardian

The candidates should produce the Caste / Category and Income Certificate without fail during the verification of original documents at the Helpline Centres.

KCET Application Fee Payment


The KCET Application Fees should be paid after final submission of the application form, candidates will be redirected to the Challan tab where they can download the Challan by selecting the bank/post office. There is no option to pay the application fees online.

Payment of Fees: The candidate has to pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of the following banks/post office

  • Central Bank
  • Indian Bank
  • Axis Bank
  • State Bank of Mysore
  • Syndicate Bank
  • Any computerised e-Post Office.

Print the Final KCET 2018 Application Form

  • Candidate can download the printout of the application at any stage of the filling of online application, but the printout is taken before Declaration is a Draft copy.
  • Final copy of the application form can be downloaded by the candidate only after Declaration on the official website. The print of the application form for the paid candidates is available officially and given below this page.
  • The downloaded application form (after final submission) should be duly attested by the Principal where the candidate is presently studying.If the candidates have passed 2nd PU / 12 standard examinations before 2018 Annual examination, the candidate should obtain the signature from his / her previous College Principal where he/she has passed 2nd PU / 12th Std examination OR by any Gazetted Officer. Attestation by the Principal / Gazetted Officer in the space provided on the downloaded application form is compulsory for all the candidates

Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form before the final submission because once the application has been processed then the candidates will not be able to do any changes.

Candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference
