BITSAT 2018 Merit List is expected to be declared in July 2018. At the completion of the test, the computer will announce the result to the candidate in terms of a number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score. Two separate BITSAT 2018 Merit List will be prepared One for all the programmes except the B.Pharm.(Hons.) and, the other only for B.Pharm.(Hons.)
BITSAT 2018 Merit List
- For the candidates who have appeared in BITSAT 2018 and have submitted the application for admission to BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad in the prescribed form with Class 12 marks, preferences and the required fees the merit position of all such eligible candidates will be prepared on the basis of their scores in BITSAT 2018.
- There will be two separate merit lists prepared for admission.
- One for all the programmes except the B.Pharm.(Hons.) and the other only for B.Pharm.(Hons.)
Points to Remember
- As the final grades are scrutinised with extreme care through automated machines, there is no provision for re-grading and re- totalling.
- Once the tests get completed, the candidate can check and print their score report at the BITS website.
BITS 2018 Admission
- The candidates who have taken BITSAT 2018 are only eligible to take the admission if they have secured the minimum qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as per the eligibility criteria for admission.
- All candidates who have taken BITSAT 2018 and are interested to get enrolled in BITS are required to submit Admission application with Class 12 and preferences to different degree programmes offered. For further details, the candidates should follow the link below

BITSAT 2018 Bracketing (In case of a tie)
If in case any bracketing arises it will be dealt with as described below:
- If the score of the two candidates comes out to be the same, first their scores obtained in Mathematics/Biology (For B.Pharm) in BITSAT will be considered for separating them,
- If the tie still exists, then their scores in Physics in BITSAT will be considered for separating them.
- The further tie is eliminated using their scores in Chemistry.
- Finally, their PCM/PCB(For B.Pharm) total marks in Class 12 examination will be considered for their separation.
