JEE Main Result 2018 will be declared by CBSE on Last week of April 2018, on the official website of JEE Main. The students can check their JEE Main 2018 Scores by checking JEE Main Result on this page. This score shall comprise the actual marks obtained in JEE Main 2018 Paper 1 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced 2018 provided and subject to other conditions of eligibility being met.

JEE Main Result 2018 for Paper 1 will be declared for the JEE Main Exam 2018 that is going to be conducted on 8 April 2018 in Paper Based Mode and in 2nd week of April in Computer Based Mode. CBSE will also declared JEE Main Final Answer Keys also.

JEE Main Paper 2 Result

  • To Check the JEE Main Result/ Score Card, the candidate has to enter JEE Main 2018 Roll Number & Date of Birth
  • The candidate has to download theJEE MainScore Card which is valid for admission to various institutes in CSAB and for all other colleges who would be taking admission by JEE Main Score.
  • JEE Main name wise list would be published according to the JEE Main Roll Numbers, and students can accordingly check the details.

JEE Main Rank 2018


JEE Main Rank 
will be calculated on the basis of JEE Main Score. The candidate will get an All India Rank as well as the State and Category Rank. Separate Rank lists will be prepared for admission to B.E./B. Tech. And B. Arch/ B. Planning (in institutions other than IITs). JEE Main Rank will be available on the JEE Score Card.

JEE Main 2018 Rank Card indicating All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be available on JEE (Main) website after the declaration of result.

Rank list for admission to B.E. / B. Tech. (in institutions other than IITs) In Case of candidates securing equal marks in JEE Main

  • Resolution by marks obtained in Mathematics in JEE Main 2018. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
  • Resolution by marks obtained in Physics in the JEE Main 2018. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.
  • Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. Candidate having a higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank.

If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank

With the declaration of JEE Main Rank 2018, the agony and anxiety of over 11 lakh students who are eligible for counselling to 92 technical institutes including 23 IITs and 31 NITs also come to an end. Last year, due to delay in the announcement has led to the postponement of admission to IITs and NITs and rescheduling of events by JoSAA.

JEE Main Rank will be declared by CBSE for paper 1 and Paper 2, thus kick-starting the process of admissions to IITs, NITs, and IIITs.

JEE Main Rank Card 2018


All India JEE rank for JEE Main Paper 1 & Paper 2 will declare on or before June last week 2018.JEE Main 2018 Rank Card indicating All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be available on JEE (Main) website after the declaration of result.

The candidate has to download the JEE Main Rank Card from the website, and no candidate would be sent the JEE Main score card/ JEE Main rank card by post.

JEE Main Result 2018 - Obtaining OMR Sheet


The candidates who are intended to obtain the photocopy of their OMR Sheet along with the calculation sheet may apply for the same along with the requisite fee of Rs 500. The candidates should send the request to obtain the OMR Sheet of JEE Main 2018 on or before Last week of May 2018. The CBSE Board has decided to provide the photocopy of the OMR Sheet and Calculation sheet to the candidates who have appeared in JEE Main 2018.

How to obtain the OMR Sheet?

  • The candidates applying for obtaining the OMR Sheet have to send an application to the address given below.
  • The candidates have to pay the fees of Rs 500 through Demand Draft in favour of the CBSE payable at Delhi/New Delhi issued by any scheduled bank
  • The candidates have to mention their Roll number, Name and Address correctly in their application.

Important Points for JEE Main Result 2018

  • The All India Rank (AIR) secured is only used for admissions via Central Counseling Board to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/SFIs/Others, while other ranks are for information purposes.
  • All the participating institutes do not select candidates on the basis of centralised Seat Allocation Process. Some institutes accept JEE Main Score 2018 for admission but prepare their ranking based on the performance in JEE Main 2018 and other criteria as decided by them.
  • Only the All India Rank (AIR) is used for admissions through Central Seat Allocation Board to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/SFIs/Others, while other ranks are for information purposes.
  • The Institutes that do not participate in JoSAA Counselling or CSAB will use the JEE Score and will come up with their ranks based on their selection criteria.

JEE Main Result is based on JEE Main Answer Keys

  • JEE Main 2018 Answer Keys and images of OMR sheets of both Pen & Paper Based Examination and Computer-based examination will be available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in during the 3rd week of April 2018.
  • If the candidate is not satisfied with any answer provided, they can challenge it by filling the online application form only through the link available on the website www.jeemain.nic.in on payment of Rs.1000 per question.
  • The fee can be paid by credit/debit card or e-challan. The fee once paid is non-refundable. The JAB’s/CBSE’s decision on the challenges shall be final, and no further communication will be entertained.
