LSAT India Admit Card 2018 Released

LSAT India Admit Card 2018 has been released today and is available to download from 11 May 2018 on the official website of LSAT India for the LSAT India exam to be conducted on 20 May 2018. LSAT Admit card 2018 will not be dispatched through post. LSAT India Admit Card is available to download only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms online before 9 May 2018. Once the LSAT 2018 Admit Card gets downloaded, the candidates are suggested to keep it safe for future use. The LSAT Admit Card is available to download and the candidates can download the admit card from 11 May to 19 May 2018. The candidates can download the LSAT Admit Card 2018 by filling in the Email Address and LSAT India Password.

LSAT India Admit Card is available only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms ONLINE before the due date. It is mandatory to carry the Admit card along with required IDs, on the day of the LSAT India test.

Important Points for LSAT Admit card

  • Candidates are advised to check the details like name of the students, exam centre, exam dates etc. on the printed admit card
  • Candidates are required to make sure that they carry a Valid Admit Card to the test centre and produce the same to the invigilators for Verification.
  • Preserve the LSAT 2018 Admit card in good condition till the admission process gets over.
  • Do not tamper the Admit Card or alter any entry made therein after it has been authenticated.
  • Admit Card is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.
  • The admit card will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Admit Card is an important document to be carried at the exam centre

Prepare for the LSAT India Exam according to Exam Pattern

  • Duration: 2 hours 20 minutes.
  • Answers are marked on a scannable answer sheet.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking in the exam.
  • The amount of time allotted for each section is 35 minutes
  • All questions are in a multiple-choice format, some with four answer choices and others with five

The LSAT India is a paper and pencil test with four sections. The students have to use a pencil to mark the answers. The sections on the LSAT India may appear in any order but always consist of the below given 4 sections.

Analytical Reasoning Questions - Examples of questions

  • Questions to the test the ability to understand a structure of relationships and to draw logical conclusions about that structure.  
  • Reason deductively from a set of statements and rules or principles that describe relationships among persons, things, or events. 

Logical Reasoning Questions

  • Questions to analyse, critically evaluate, and complete arguments as they occur in ordinary language.
  • Read and comprehend a short passage, then answer a question about it.
  • Questions based on critical thinking,  drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, determining how additional evidence affects an argument, applying principles or rules, and identifying argument flaws.

Reading Comprehension Questions

  • Question to test the ability to read,
  • The Reading Comprehension section contains four sets of reading questions, each consisting of a selection of reading material, followed by four to nine questions that test reading and reasoning abilities

Documents to be brought at Examination Centre for LSAT Exam

  • Use only a No. 2 or HB Pencil to shade the answer options in the optical mark recognition answer sheet. Ink is not permitted.
  • Candidates MUST bring one of the following valid (original and non-expired) photo identification proof to the Test Centre on the day of the test: 
    • Driving License 
    • PAN Card
    • Passport
    • Election Card / Voter ID
    • UID / Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhar Card copy
    • Employee ID containing photograph and signature
    • SC/ ST Certificate with the photograph
    • Military dependent ID containing candidate’s photo
    • Military ID containing candidate’s photo
    • Photo Identity issued by School/College/University
  • If a registrant for the five-year course does not have any of the above IDs, they will be admitted upon presentation of any two of the following in original:
    • Tenth pass Certificate / Mark sheet that has the date of birth on it
    • School Identity Card (photo)
    • Original Admit Card issued by University/Board for Class 12 examination with affixed photograph

How should one prepare for the LSAT India Exam?

Since LSAT India measures critical thinking skills mastery of any specific body of knowledge, cramming facts, mathematical formulae and other general knowledge is not necessary and will be a waste of time. There are some guide books available in the market for the LSAT India. 

However, the LSAT India is a test of reason, so one doesn't need to cram facts/ data. Ideally, a candidate should prepare as long as it takes to feel comfortable with the question types and how they are answered.
