About MH AAC CET

MH AAC CET 2019 is common entrance test conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admission to the first year of the four-year full-time degree course in Bachelor of Fine Art (B.F.A) in the Government, Govt. Aided and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. MH AAC CET result has been declared. The link to download MH AAC CET 2019 result is provided below. The candidates have to submit an online application form to appear in the MH AAC CET. Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test (MH AAC CET) is conducted by Directorate of Art, Maharashtra State.

MH AAC CET Eligibility criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidates should be an India national and should belong to Maharashtra state and should be passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in any stream with minimum 45% marks in aggregate. The candidates who belong to the backward class should have secured at least 40% marks. The candidates who are appeared in the qualifying exam this year but still waiting for the final result are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Domicile Candidates: The candidates who belong to Maharashtra state but lives and study out of Maharashtra must be passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institution or board in India in any stream with minimum 45% (40% for backward class) marks in aggregate. The candidates who are appeared in the qualifying exam this year but still waiting for final result are also eligible to apply for MH AAC CET 2019.

Eligibility Criteria for Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates: The candidates who are Indian but not a Marathi are also eligible to apply for appearing in Maharashtra CET 2019. Such candidates must be passed in in class 10 and 12 standard or equivalent examination from a recognized institution or board in India in any stream with minimum 45% (40% for backward class) marks in aggregate.

MH AAC CET Application form and Admit Card

MH AAC CET 2019 application form can be filled and submitted only through online mode. Candidates should click on the following link to apply online. The candidates have to follow the instruction given below for filling the online application form.

  • In order to fill the online application form, the candidates have to first, visit the official website directly or by clicking the link given here.
  • Now the candidates have to fill the application form. The candidates have to enter required details such as personal details, educational details, marks details of class 12 or equivalent exam, address, valid personal email id, personal mobile no. and a password.
  • After filling the application form, the candidates have to upload a scanned copy of their latest photograph and signature. The size of the photograph and signature should be as per the criteria mentioned in the table below:

  • Now the candidates have to make payment of the application fee only through an online payment mode. To make payment of the application fee, the candidates can use Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking.
  • On successful payment of the application form, a confirmation message with application number & password will be sent through email and SMS to the email address and phone number given in the application form. The candidates have to note the application number and password; it will be used for all communication purposes.

Submission of Application Form

The candidates who want to appear in the common entrance test can submit the application form only through online mode. The application form can be submitted online Only. After successful submission of the application form, a confirmation of the same will be displayed there. The candidates have to take a print out of it and keep it safe for future references.

MH AAC CET 2019 Admit Card

The candidates who will successfully submit an online application are only eligible to download the MH AAC CET 2019 Admit Card from May 2019. The candidates can download the admit card by entering the application number and password which will be sent just after submitting the online application form. Name & address of the examination centre and basic details of the candidates will be provided on the MH AAC CET 2019 Admit Card.

MH AAC CET Result and Counselling

The candidates will be selected for admission into 4 Year Duration Full-Time Undergraduate Degree courses in for the academic year 2019-2020 on the basis of performance in Common Entrance Test that was held on 19 May 2019 at the various centre within Maharashtra state. GK exam was held in online mode on 20 May 2019. Based on the performance in CET 2019, a Provisional merit list of candidates has been declared.

MH AAC CET Exam pattern

  • Mode of Exam - Pen and Paper-based Test for Practical Test and computer-based test for General Knowledge
  • Type of Questions-  Common Entrance Test will have a total of 4 papers; 3 practical papers and 1 multiple choice theory paper. The candidates can use only Black Inkball pen to write the answers of theory paper. The detailed exam pattern along with syllabus, timing and question type are given below:
