UGAT 2018 Exam Timings

The UGAT 2018 will be conducted in both morning and evening shift for different courses. The timings of both shifts are given below along with the exam schedule.

• Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent in any stream.Candidate appearing for supplementary examination will not be considered.

• Eligibility for BCom: The candidates who have passed class 12 or equivalent with Commerce stream or Science stream 
• Eligibility for BA (Music)/BPA:  The candidates who are passed or appeared in class 12 examination with music as one of the subjects in Class 12.
• Eligibility for B.Sc.:  Candidates who have passed or appeared in Class 12 examination with Science stream is eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Maths & Biology group respectively).
• Eligibility for B.Sc. (Home Science): Only the female candidates who have passed in any stream having home science as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for admission into B.Sc. (Home Science). 
  

Eligibility Rule for Gap Students

• Students who passed class 12 in the same year of admission - No marks will be deducted from their grand total
• A gap of 1 Year - Those who appear after the gap of one year 5% marks will be deducted from the grand total
• A gap of 2 years or more  -  This will invite 10% deduction and three years gap will invite 15% deduction. A gap of more than three years will not invite more than 15% deduction

Steps to fill the UGAT Application Form

• STEP 1: Before filling the online application, first, the candidates have to read the brochure and keep ready have a scanned copy of their coloured photograph and signature.
• STEP 2: Fill the application form: Now the candidates have to enter all required detail in the online application form such as basic personal details, education details, qualifying exam details, contact details, address. The candidates have to select exam mode (online or offline), exam centre and the course they want to get admission in.
• STEP 3: Upload Image: After filling the application form, the candidates have to now upload the scanned copy of their latest coloured photograph and signature. The photograph and signature must fulfil the criteria mentioned below:

• STEP 4: After filling the application form and uploading required image, the candidates must preview the application form using the option Preview application form.
• STEP 5: Make Payment of the Application Fee: Now the candidates have to make payment of the application fee. The candidates can make payment of the application fee using online mode of payment. The candidates can pay through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.
• STEP 6: After the successful payment of the Allahabad University application Form 2018, candidates are advised to take the printout of the final receipt of the payment for the future references.

Application Submission

The candidates desired to get admission into an undergraduate program offered by Allahabad University through UGAT 2018 entrance exam must submit the application form through online mode. After making payment of the application fee, the online application process will be completed, and the candidates have to take a printout of it. The candidates have to send it via post. Allahabad University Admit Card 2018

Allahabad University will issue UGAT 2018 Admit Card on 12 May 2018. UGAT Admit card can be downloaded here and also on the official website of Allahabad University. The candidates who have submitted an online application form can download the admit card by entering their application ID and date of birth. Admit card will not be sent via post. The candidates applying an online application form for appearing in UGAT 2018 entrance examination will have to pay the application fee as under:

Admission to the programs B.A., B.Sc. (Maths), B.Sc. (Bio), B.Sc. (Home Science), B.Com., B.F.A., B.P.A. at Allahabad University done through an online and offline entrance examination called UGAT 2018. The candidates have to first appear in the online/offline UGAT entrance examination. The university has declared the result of the entrance test in June 2018 and is available on the university website. The candidates will be selected for admission and will be invited for counselling process on the basis of their score in the online/offline UGAT Entrance examination.

Admission process will start in the Last week of June 2018 by the process of counselling and the candidates have to get information regard counselling through the local newspaper or through official website of Allahabad University.

Allahabad University UGAT Result

The candidates going to appear in the online and offline UGAT entrance examination have to take the examination on the basis of the pattern mentioned below:

• Total Number of Questions: 150
• Duration of the Test: 2 hours
• Marking Scheme: For every correct answer 02 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer 0.5 marks will be deducted
• Question Type: Multiple choice questions

Out of seven subjects, namely Civics, Economics, Geography, History, Logic, Sanskrit, and Urdu each subject will have 25 questions of Class 12 Level. The candidate will have to opt any three subjects

Allahabad University UGAT BSc Exam Pattern

There will be 40 questions in each of the following four subjects

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology.

Candidates of Maths stream have to select 120 questions from PCM and that of Biology stream have to select 120 questions from PCB

Allahabad University UGAT BFA Exam Pattern

• Written Test is of 120 minutes
• Objective Drawing with light and shade (in any medium) Time: 90 Minutes, Maximum Marks: 150
• Memory drawing (in any medium) Time: 90 Minutes, Maximum Marks: 150
• The applicant shall also be required to appear in both Practical & Written Tests of total 600 marks.

Allahabad University UGAT BPA Exam Pattern

• BPA exam is divided into two parts - Theory Test and Practical Test
• Theory Paper will consist of 150 MCQs of 2 marks each. For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded and 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.The Questions will be based on Music (Vocal, Sitar & Tabla) of Class 12 Level.The duration of the Test will be 120 Minutes.
• Practical Test - To be held in the department of music marks 200.

The final admission shall be made on the marks obtained in written and practical exam. The written exam is conducted by the University of Allahabad and Practical conducted by Department of music

UGAT 2018 will be conducted in online mode in multiple cities of India and the list is available on the Allahabad University Website. The offline exam will be conducted in the cities given below. The candidates have to opt for the choice of the online/ offline test at the time of application and it can not be changed later.

Documents required for Allahabad University Counselling

The candidates, who are selected for admission in the undergraduate course they have applied, have to bring the following documents at the time of admission:

• Class 12 or equivalent in original along with a photocopy
• Class 10 or equivalent in original along with a photocopy
• Original Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate
• UGAT Admit Card
• SC/ST and OBC Certificate as per listed below:
  • For SC/ST and OBC category candidates governed by Rule 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3: Recent Caste certificate in original and a photocopy thereof.For OBC candidates recent Caste certificate on Central Government format indicate Non-creamy layer is a must.
  • For the applicants governed by Rule 2: Original and a photocopy of the certificate issued by competent authority for Kashmiri Migrants.
  • For the applicants governed by Rule 3: Original and a photocopy of the NCC 'B', NCC 'C' certificate.
  • For the applicants governed by Rule 5: Original and photocopy of the certificate in support of outstanding contribution in sports at National Level and State Level. For this, the candidate will be interviewed by the Board organized by the Athletic Association at the time and place announced by it.
  • For the applicants governed by Rule 6 : Original and a photocopy of the certificate of Physical Disability (Visual, Hearing, Orthopaedic) issued by the Chief Medical officer of a District Hospital or by the Viklang-Kendra, Allahabad and to appear before a Board of Doctors to assess the intensity of disability/challenge on a date and place given by the Dean Students' Welfare.
• Income certificate of the parent/guardian, issued by the competent authority
