The Candidate should be an Indian National for admission to seats other than NRI Quota. The eligibility is same for all categories.

• Candidate must have cleared HSC or its equivalent examination with compulsory subjects such as Physics and Mathematics along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical/ Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together
• And at least 45% marks required in above-mentioned examination for Backward Class Categories and PWD belonging to Maharashtra State only
• For J&K Migrant and All India Quota Seats: Obtained score in MHT-CET 2018 or JEE (Main) 2018 Paper I.

Eligibility for Direct Admission in the Second year of Engineering

• Candidate must clear Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of OBC, PWD belonging to Maharashtra State only).

OR

• Candidate must clear B.Sc. Degree from UGC or AIU recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of OBC, PWD belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics and shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second-year subjects.

The Application Form of B.Tech program is to be filled by online mode only. The candidate is requested to fill the separate application form for each category in which candidate wishes to apply for the admission to the KJ Somaiya College of Engineering. STEP 1: Candidate hat to Register First with the Institution by filling general details such as Name, Address, Contact No., etc.

STEP 2: After successful Registration, the candidate is required to fill the online pre-admission form available on college admission portal after the 1st week of June 2018.

STEP 3: Upload scanned copies of all required documents with the online application form. 

STEP 4: Pay the required processing fees and Submit the form in the college along with necessary processing fee.

STEP 5: At the time of submission of KJ Somaiya College of Engineering Application form you have to bring all originals for verification.

STEP 6: Wait for final merit list to be displayed. After final merit list schedule of counselling will be displayed.And the applicants will be given admission based on their choices and vacant seats.

This is a fee for one year and it includes the tuition fee, development fee, Examination fee, Library fee and other fee charged by the students. This does not include the hostel fee.

Fee Structure for Candidates of NRI /PIO/FN Quota

Admissions in the KJ Somaiya College of Engineering will be made on the basis of merit list for each type of seats as per DTE rules. Candidates are informed that, If all the seats are filled during the admission process then no claim for admissions shall be entertained on any grounds whatsoever. After the successful submission of the Pre-Admission form the applicants, the merit list will be prepared for all the categories, and the shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process whose details are given below.

Counselling of Student

• The candidates themselves will be required to attend thecounselling session for seat allocation, and on an allocation of a seat the candidate shall be required to:
  • Pay immediately Demand Draft of the amount as given in the same admission brochure under the heading Payment of Fees.
• Submit all original certificates/ documents with Two Sets of attested photocopies If the candidate has secured admission in some other institute earlier, then he/she has to submit the photocopy of Original Retention Certificate and Fee Receipt issued by the earlier institute and must produce originals of both above documents for verification.
• Later, the candidate has to submit all original certificates with two sets (listed below) of attested photocopies within Four working days failing which his/her admission will be canceled.

• Gap Affidavit (if HSC examination is passed before 2018)
• Declaration of the Candidate for the respective Linguistic (Gujarati) Minority Community or Leaving Certificate having information about Mother tongue (Gujarati).
