ISB Hyderabad PGPM Admission 2018

ISB Hyderabad Admission 2018 to full-time PGPM will be done in two phases. The application for the academic year 2018-19 in Indian School of Business has already started and the deadline for early birds is 15 October 2017, those who wish to apply in cycle 2 have to submit the application forms by 15 January 2018. ISB Hyderabad PGPM Admission 2018 will be based on GMAT/GRE Scores. 

If candidate’s medium of instructions during the Undergraduate education is not English TOEFL/IELTS score will be required.  

PGPM offered in ISB Hyderabad is a one-year full-time residential program. PGPM course in ISB Hyderabad is offered in two Cycles per academic session. 

• The candidates are mostly advised to apply in Cycle 1 to improve their chances of getting a scholarship. However, applying in either cycle does not impact the candidates, chances of securing an admission offer.
• The candidates who are completing less than 24 months of full-time work experience by 31 March 2018, have to apply through the Early Entry Option for a deferred admission.

Post Graduate Programme in Management Selection or evaluation of the students are done based on the following criteria:

• GMAT/GRE: The main point of selection at IBS Hyderabad for PGPM will be based on the GMAT/GRE Scores obtained by the candidates. IBS Hyderabad also considers Class 12 scores, Graduation grades, Post-Graduation and other certification scores along with GMAT/GRE scores. There is no cut-off criteria for selection purposes.
• Leadership Potential: The candidates must have an experience of two years for taking admission in PGPM. Accordingly, the selection will be based on the impact of their past professional and personal experience of the candidate. The professional recommendation of the candidate is a significant part for assessing the leadership potential of the applicant in a professional setting.
• Personal Attributes: The extraordinary personal attributes or characteristics helps in judging the candidates to offer admission at ISB Hyderabad. Apart from the work life, the extracurricular interests or activities helps to bring in light the diverse background of the candidate and become a part of the PGPM. Variations in work life, educational, nationality among others will be considered for admission.

ISB Placement for the PGPM class of 2016 was successfully conducted across Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. The class of 2016 at ISB had a great placement session. Some of the important placement highlights are given below

• A total of 297 companies made an offer of 1151 among the there were top consulting firms like McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, EY, Deloitte, and KPMG Continue to be big recruiters at ISB accounting for 19% of the total offers.
• IT firms such as Microsoft, Apple, Philips, HCL, Tech Mahindra and Derecti made their stong presence, offering 5% of the class. 
• Two E-Commerce Companies that is Amazon and Flipkart also made a total offer of 180.
• Apart from the companies offer, the Government of Andhra Pradesh also offered to 11 ISB students to become Chief Minister's Fellows in order  to support the emerging state on strategic initiatives and other significant implementation of the policies.
• A total of 74 offers were made for senior leadership roles and global leadership programmes which included CXO level positions and those made to women students. 'Women Leadership Programme' which is run by Axis Bank made an offer of 30, from the past 18 years.
• Apart from resulting in the highest number of job offers this year, the hybrid model of placements also resulted in higher packages to the 812 strong class of 2016.
