Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Nursing Admission 2018

Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Nursing Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of Class 12 marks. Jamia Hamdard Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and DGNM courses will be based on NEET 2018. The candidates need to fill the application form for Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Nursing Admission and for other two courses. The NEET 2018 will be conducted on 6 May 2018. Candidates who are interested in taking admission in BSc Nursing must appear in NEET 2018.

The courses offered by the Faculty of Nursing are recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. The Faculty of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard has been working towards the achievement of following objectives to provide good quality education and training to students nurses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level.

Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Nursing 2018 Dates

The Eligibility of the B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) are different, therefore, the candidates can ensure their eligibility criteria for the course they are opting for. The eligibility criteria is given below separately for each course. To apply in any of the three courses: 

• The candidate must be able to communicate in English. 
• Candidate should be medically fit.

Jamia Hamdard B.Sc (Hons) Nursing Eligibility

• Age: The candidates must have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 2018 as per INC norms.
• Academic qualification:
  • The candidates must have passed class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from CBSE or any other equivalent examination recognised by Jamia Hamdard. 
  • Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in the aggregate and also in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Candidates must have passed in all subjects of Class 12.

Jamia Hamdard Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Eligibility

• The candidate must fulfil the following qualification for taking admission to 2 years Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
• The candidate must have DGNM qualification from Nursing School/School recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
• The candidate must be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife under State Nursing Council.
  
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or Senior Secondary/Intermediate from CBSE or any other equivalent examination recognised by Jamia Hamdard and appeared in Entrance Test or Interview conducted by Jamia Hamdard.

Jamia Hamdard Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) Eligibility

• Age: The minimum age for the candidates must be 17 years of age and the maximum age of the candidates must be 35 years of age.
• Academic Qualification:
  • Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 in Science/Arts/Commerce from recognised Board under ASSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/ HSCE or any other equivalent Board recognised by Jamia Hamdard.
  • The candidate must have passed in any of the four subjects including English (3 subjects + English).
  • The candidates must have passed in all the above at least five subjects as per CBSE policy in 10+2.
  • The candidate must have appeared in the entrance test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.

The application process for Jamia Hamdard BSc Nursing admission has started from 23 March 2018. Steps to fill the Jamia Hamdard Application Form

• Login: After the registration gets over, the candidates need to login by entering their email id and password in order to proceed further to the Online Application Form.
• Select Program: The candidate has to select the program he/she wish to apply for: 
  • B.Sc Nursing can be selected from the option which is available in the application form that is "MBBS/BPharm/BUMS/B.Sc Nursing/BPT/BOT and other UG Biological Programmes". 
    
• Filling the application form: After selecting the programme the candidate must click on proceed to the online application form. The candidates must then enter their personal information, contact details, education qualification, permanent and correspondence address.
• Upload photograph: The candidates also need to upload their own photograph in .JPG/.PNG/.JPEG only.
• Payment of the Application Fee: The candidates must crosscheck and preview their duly filled in the online application form before making the payment. The candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs 1200 through online mode only using credit card/debit card/net banking.

Submission of the Application Form

Candidates are advised to check the details of the application form and then make the final submission as the candidates need to know that once the application gets submitted, the candidates will not be able to change the details of the application form

After the successful submission of the application form, the candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference

Jamia Hamdard Admit Card 2018

The candidates can download their admit card from Jamia Hamdard official website and take a print out of it. The candidates have to carry their admit card along with them on the entrance examination day.

The admit card will not be dispatched through the post to the candidates, so no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Admit Card is an important document to be carried at the exam centre

NEET Admit Card 2018

Jamia Hamdard Application Fees are different for the Indian Nationals and NRI Applicants. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their Application fee accordingly. The fee has to be paid through online mode only that is credit card/debit card/net banking.

NRI Candidates: Foreign National/NRI/ Sponsored seats are not required to appear in the written test.

Jamia Hamdard Interview for all the B.Sc Nursing will be held at Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. Candidates must bring their Class 12 mark sheet on the day of the interview. The B.Sc Nursing Schedule is given towards the end of the page in the form of the table.

Jamia Hamdard Counselling Process

After the interview gets over, the selection list will be displayed on the official website of Jamia Hamdard. The selected candidates will be called for the counselling session at Rufaida College of Nursing, Jamia Hamdard at 10:00 A.M. Tentative counselling Schedule is given in the table below:

Jamia Hamdard Counselling: The candidates who have applied for admission in Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Nursing program and secured NEET rank up to 2 lakh are informed to appear in Counselling Round in School of Nursing Sciences & Allied Health in the month of July 2018. The candidates are advised to bring the following documents in original along with their photocopy for verification:

• Copy of Jamia Hamdard Application form
• High school/Matric (10th) Certificate (Date of Birth certificate) & mark-sheet 10+2 (Intermediate/Sr.
• 10+2 (Intermediate/Sr. Secondary) or equivalent examination certificate and mark sheet NEET 2018
• NEET 2018 Scorecard with admit card

Note: Selected candidates will have to complete the admission process by July 2018.

Jamia Hamdard Selection Process

The selection process for all the three courses are given below:

• B.Sc (Hons) Nursing: Selection for BSc (Hons) Nursing will be done on the basis of merit in Class 12  cum-interview. The interview weight age will be 15%.
• Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: The admission to Post basic B.Sc Nursing course will be based on the entrance test and interview. The questions will be based on DGNM syllabus as per INC.
• DGNM: The admission to DGNM course shall be made on the basis of entrance examination and interview conducted by Jamia Hamdard.
