REAP Merit List Criteria
Merit will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidate in JEE Main 2017. The merit of the candidates securing equal marks in aggregate in the JEE Main 2017 will be decided in the following order:
During preparing the merit list for admission, first priority will be given to JEE Main- 2017 candidates and second priority will be given to 12th board percentile candidates.
The marks obtained in Mathematics in JEE (Mains)-2017 will determine the relative merit of such candidates.
In a case of marks in Mathematics also being equal, the marks obtained in Physics at JEE (Mains)-2017 will determine the merit.
In case there is a tie on the basis of the above criteria, the relative merit will be decided by the age of the candidate. The candidate of higher age (older candidate) will be placed on higher merit.
In a case of all the parameter as mentioned above are equal then, randomization will be adopted for deciding the rank of such candidates.
When all the seats have been allotted to the candidates with JEE Main score 2017 and the list are exhausted then the remaining vacant seats will be distributed to the candidates according to their Class 12 merit percentage and the option filled by them.
