Latest Update: AICET Exam was conducted previously for the admissions to the admissions to the listed 3 colleges but from 2016 onwards Admissions to the Medical and BDS  Colleges will be based on the NEET Exam Scores and AICET is cancelled as per the orders of the Supreme Court.

As per the notice published in the leading newspapers of Madhya Pradesh, APUMP will start the counselling process for the MBBS Admissions in the Medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh from September 3, 2016.

MBBS/BDS Counselling Schedule - 2016

• The applicants who have qualified the 10+ 2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English can apply for the exam.
• Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with basic passing marks in English is required.
• The candidates who are appearing for the exam shouldn’t be more than 17 years of age as on 31^st December but the candidate shouldn’t be more than 25 years of age as on 31^st December.
• No domicile is required for this exam; it is open to all candidates representing the Union of India.
• NRI candidates don’t have to appear for the test, they can contact the Head of the Institution regarding their admission against the NRI seat.

As per the notification of Union Grant Commission (UGC), the NEET is mandatory for admission into government and private medical colleges in India. However, the candidates also need to fill the APUMP Application  Form. The candidates can appear in NEET exam by filling the application form.

• The application form must be downloaded and filled in by the candidate in their own handwriting.
• Candidate must have a photocopy of the application form.
• The application form must be filled in black and blue pen.
• The form should be filled in capital letters only.
• Colour passport size photograph in the size 3.5*4.5 cm should be pasted on the application form.Candidates shouldn’t attest the photograph or use pin or stapler on the photograph; they must only paste the photograph with glue.
• Thumb impression using blue/red stamp pad has to be provided in the form leaflet.

APUMP Test Centers

The candidate must choose two centres out of the 9 allotted in the examination.

Submission of Application

The applicants must send the hard copy of the application form along with a demand draft of Rs. 3000 issued in favor of Association of Private Universities Madhya Pradesh, Payable at Bhopal.

Candidates are required to keep a photocopy of the application form, if any candidate is desirous of the photocopy from the university, they will have to make a payment of Rs.500 in lieu of their demand.

The application has to be sent by the due date, failing which the late fine of Rs. 500 would be imposed. The candidates must write their name and contact number on the back of the demand draft.

Rs. 3,000 will be charged as the application fee for the computer-based exam.

• The result will be declared after the due approval of the admission committee.
• The candidates will receive the rank card by post and it will also be notified on the official website.
• Duplicate Rank Card: In case of loss of Rank Card, the candidates can get a duplicate rank card by sending a demand draft of Rs, 1,000 in favour of Association of Private Universities Madhya Pradesh payable at Bhopal or they can also pay in cash.
• The candidates will be called for counselling based on the merit list.

Counselling

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the area without a rank card.

Documents to be carried for counseling. All original documents will be verified by the concerned college at the time of admission.

• Demand Draft of Rs. 5,00,000 (MBBS) in favour of Association of Private Universities Madhya Pradesh payable at Bhopal as (Part of Tuition fee).

• Photocopy of filled Application Form.
• Proof of Identification
• Counselling fee of Rs. 1000  in cash
• GAP Certificate if any (affidavit)

• Medium: Computer Based Exam
• Type: MCQs
• Duration: 3 Hours
• There will be No negative marking in the MBBS Entrance Exam.

Candidates will be provided a rough sheet which must be submitted at the time of leaving the examination hall.
