ACPC Course and Basis of Admission

For admission to Bachelor of Architecture Course, it is mandatory for all the eligible applicants to appear in the NATA 2018. For Mock Round, all qualified candidates whose name appear in the merit list are required to complete the choice filling process. ACPC Counselling will be conducted for the following given courses:

ACPC Gujarat Architecture Seats

Government Seats: All the sanctioned seats of Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture and interior design, Bachelor of Construction Technology and Bachelor of Interior Design Courses in Government Colleges or Institutions of the State/ in the aided Colleges or Institutions.

• All the Government Seats shall be filled on the basis of merit list prepared by the Admission Committee.
• 75% of the total sanctioned seats in the Unaided Colleges or Institutions.

Management Seats: 25% seats of the total sanctioned seats of the Bachelor of Architecture,  Bachelor of Architecture and interior design, Bachelor of Construction Technology and Bachelor of Interior Design Courses in the unaided Colleges or Institutions.

• All the Management Seats shall be filled by the management of the respective Professional Educational College or Institution, for the candidates whose names appear in the merit list prepared by the Admission Committee.

Distribution of ACPC Architecture Seats

Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture & Interior Design seats available for the students are listed below.

Academic Qualifications

• Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Business Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects (45% in case of  SEBC/SC/ST candidates)
• Candidate can also have passed the Diploma (10+3 pattern) of any stream with a minimum 50% aggregate marks.

• The candidate shall have to pass all the subjects of the qualifying examination from one board.
• Candidates awaiting HSC result and candidates who have applied for verification/rechecking of marks may also apply.

Qualifying Exam

Candidate should have the qualifying marks in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Candidates will have to mandatorily appear in the NATA 2018 Exam.

Note: As per provision in prevailing rules, two seats are reserved in M. S. University for candidates who have passed F.Y.B.Sc. in the current academic year with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths at the first trial. The eligible candidates in this class may visit www.jacpcldce.ac.in website for further details.

Confirmation of Registration at Help Centre

Check for the List of Help Centres (Last year)

• All the candidates have to visit the nearby help centres for document verification after completing the online registration. All the help centres are in Gujarat so students who are applying from outside Gujarat have to travel to Gujarat for the verification of the documents.
• For confirmation of registration at Help Centre, candidates have to take a printout of the Registration Details (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents should be attached with the Registration Details.
• Candidate, as well as parent/guardian of the candidate, has to compulsorily sign the  Registration Details in the space provided.
• The officer will retain Registration Details and set of self-attested documents, and after verification will issue the Registration Slip with signature and seal.

Documents to enclose with ACPC Gujarat Architecture Application Form

The candidates have to submit the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application, print out of the registration form at the Help Center at the CEPT Universit

• Class 10 Mark sheet
• Class 12 Mark sheet
• NATA 2018 Score Card 
• School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate
• Caste certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and
• Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
• Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, issued after 1st April of the relevant academic year, by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
• Certificate of Physical Disability issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/ competent Medical Authority, in case the candidate is a Physically Handicapped,
• Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer,
•  A copy of certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit in which he is serving,
• A copy of certificate of income issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf, if applicable,
• Latest Passport size Photograph of the candidate.
• Such other certificates as the Admission Committee deems necessary.

ACPC Gujarat Architecture Application Fees

The application fee is Rs 350 is to be paid by the candidates to appear in the counselling. PIN is available now and the candidates can obtain the same during normal banking hours (except bank holidays) from designated branches of Dena Bank by paying Rs.350 in cash (non-refundable).

ACPC Gujarat Architecture Colleges Fee Structure

The merit marks for the Bachelor of Architecture Course will be determined in the given below manner and the Separate merit lists of reserved category candidates shall be prepared.

• First Merit list: It will comprise of the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the Gujarat Board or obtained Diploma from a University or institution located in Gujarat State
• Second Merit List: It will comprise the candidates who have studied in the schools located in the Gujarat State.
• Third Merit List: It will comprise the candidates who have studied from the schools located outside of the Gujarat State.

ACPC Architecture Cut Off

The counselling will be based on the NATA Exam Scores. Therefore, the exam pattern of the NATA 2018 Exam is given below. Candidates have to mandatorily appear in the NATA Exam to be eligible for the ACPC Gujarat Architecture Counselling.

NATA 2018 Exam is in English Languages and is divided into two parts that are the Drawing Test and Aesthetic Sensitivity Test.

Part A: 90 Minutes

Part B: Drawing Test

It is a 90 minutes exam, where the candidate has to attempt two questions.

All the candidates have to mandatorily appear in the counselling process for the allotment of the seats, the seats will be allotted in the participating colleges as per the scores of the candidates. ACPC Gujarat  BArch 2018 Counselling Process

The ACPC Counselling process steps are listed below in details. There will be Choice filling by the candidates followed by the Allotment and the confirmation of the seats. If a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allocated they can withdraw the seat and may appear in the next round of the counselling process. 

ACPC Architecture Choice Filling

• Login to the registered account all available choices according to the eligibility are available.
• Candidate can fill the single choice at one time and click add so that it will be visible to the right grid.
•  Add the choices according to the priority if after adding candidate wish to change the order can swap the order of choices.
• The candidate has to click the save and exit button on the regular basis so that their choices remains updated.
• The candidate has to lock his/her final choices before the given time by clicking on Lock Choices Button and entering their 14 digit PIN.
• A mock round will be conducted so that candidates can understand the procedure of choice filling.

First Phase of allotment of seats

• After the choice filling process, ACPC will allot the seats to the candidates which will be shown on the website.Candidates have to log in using their ID and Password.
• If a seat is allotted to the candidate he/she have to download and print the Information letter along with bank challan with tuition fees prescribed of respective by clicking on the Result button.If no seat is allotted candidate will get a message of no seat allotment.

Confirmation of allotted seats

• The successful candidate has to pay by cash deposit in nearest Punjab National Bank the requisite amount of the tuition fees by cash or online payment.Admission of such candidate will be confirmed and confirmation slip can be taken out using login ID and Password.
• The candidate who is allotted a seat and has not deposited the fees will be considered cancelled for admission.
• If a candidate has to withdraw the admission from the allotted institution he/she has to inform the respective institute immediately and do not have to pay the required fees and documents.

Cancellation and Reinstate of Admission

• Candidate can cancel his/her admissions by clicking on the Admission cancel button and then OK.An OTP will be generated to confirm the cancellation of admissions.
• Candidate can also opt for the reinstate of admissions in the same institution but only twice by clicking on the ReAdmission button.Candidate will receive an OTP which can be used to download the Re-Admission Slip.

Next round of Counselling

• A number of vacant seats will be published by ACPC on any of the two websites.
• Candidate can update or fill new choices otherwise earlier given choices will be considered final.
• Both the candidates who have allotted and not allotted any seats can sit for the second round of counselling online if they have given the consent of appearing in next round of counselling.
• Candidates have to click the reshuffling button by login into the counselling portal.
