Academic Qualifications:

• Candidates must have passed 12 Examination of Gujarat State in Science Stream or its equivalent in CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB)
• Candidate must have studied Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer as the optional subject.
• Candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects (45% in case of  SEBC/SC/ST candidates)
• The candidate shall have to pass all the subjects of the qualifying examination from one board.
• Candidates awaiting HSC result and candidates who have applied for verification/rechecking of marks may also apply

CEPT application process is expected to be started from the first week of June 2018. The candidates can apply for CEPT Ahmedabad Admissions 2018 through online mode only. There is no offline process of filling the CEPT Ahmedabad 2018 Admission Form. The steps to fill the CEPT application form is given below.

Steps to fill the CEPT Application Form

The candidates are advised to follow the given steps so that the candidates can fill the application form and clear their doubts while filling the application form through the steps. 

• Registration: The first step to fill the application form is to register themselves on the official website by following the link which will be available soon in the month of June 2018.

• Verification of the Email Account: After registering themselves, the candidates need to verify their email account in which they will get the login credentials to log in and after that, they will be able to fill the further application form.
• Select the program: After the verification of the email account, the candidates need to select the program of their choice in which they are willing to get admission.
• Fill the Online Application form: After selecting the program of their choice, the candidates need to fill the application form which is divided into six sections:

  • Other Information

Things to be uploaded along with the CEPT Application form

• Photograph: Candidates have to upload Passport-size photo of maximum size 200 KB.
• Certificates: Candidates also have to upload the Scanned copy of the certificate for reservation category issued by competent authority. Kindly Do not attach the photo.
• Mark Sheets/certificates: Candidates have to upload Self Attested Scanned copies of the mark sheets, certificates higher secondary education. In case you have multiple certificates/ mark sheets then upload them as a single pdf document.

Submission of Application form

Candidates are required to check the filled in application form before the final submission because once the application gets submitted then the candidates will not be able to do any changes. 

Candidates are also advised to keep at least two printouts of the application form with them for future reference. Candidates do not need to send any hard copy of Confirmation Page or any other document to the Controller of Examination Office.

Candidates are required to pay an Application Fee of Rs 500 either via Credit Card or Debit Card or Net Banking against the CEPT application form. For admission to Bachelor in Interior Design and Bachelor in Construction Technology Course at CEPT University, it is mandatory for all the eligible applicants to appear in the admission tests conducted so that their name appears in the Merit List.

Merit List Preparation for CEPT University Admission

Separate merit lists for both the Courses shall be prepared.The Merit list of reserved category candidates shall be prepared separately

• First Merit list: It will comprise of the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the Gujarat Board. 
• Second Merit List: It will comprise the candidates who have studied in the schools located in the Gujarat State.
• Third Merit List: It will comprise the candidates who have studied from the schools located outside of the Gujarat State

Weightage of the CEPT Aptitude Test

Candidates will be selected on the basis of aggregate score of Class 12 and performance in the admission tests. Thereafter the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The final list of merit order would be based on the following weightage:
