About Punjab Agriculture University

PAU 2018 Punjab Agriculture University Admissions will be offered on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET), Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT), JEE Main 2018 and ICAR 2018. Punjab Agriculture University Eligibility criteria

Domicile: Candidates who are residents of Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh are eligible to apply.

Academic Qualification

  • For B.Sc. Agri, 4-years (Hons): Candidates must have passed Class 12 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Science/ Agriculture with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology/Agriculture.
  • For B.Tech Biotech./ B.Tech. Food Tech: Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in Science with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • For B.Sc. Agri, 6-years (Hons.): Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with minimum 65% marks in allied subjects.
  • For B.Tech (Agril.Engg): Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent (Non-Medical Group) with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Punjab Agriculture University Application form and Admit Card

The candidate has the option to fill their application Form for PAU 2018 examination either by Online or by Offline application mode through Post or Personally. The students do not have an option to download PAU 2018 Application Form. The application process has started from 23 April 2018 and candidates can fill the application form by following the link given below.

Candidates should have a valid personal mobile phone number and or a personal E-Mail id. The payment of application fee can be done only through Bank challan in case of the online application form or by cash for the prospectus & application form that is obtained from the university counter. PAU Admit Card 2018

PAU  admit card has released on 29 May 2018 and candidates can now get it downloaded by entering their credentials carefully. The candidate has to keep one photograph (identical to the one pasted on application form) to paste on the downloaded PAU Admit card

The candidate has to bring a valid ID proof along with the admit card to the examination hall. Candidates are advised to check the details like name of the students, exam centre, exam dates etc. on the printed admit card.

Punjab Agriculture University Fees

In the table below, the detail of the fee is given which comprises the prospectus fee and the fee required for each entrance exam. There are three methods to obtain or fill the application form. The details about the application fee are given in the table which the candidates are required to check.

Punjab Agriculture University Result and Counselling

The result of the entrance exams conducted by the Punjab Agriculture University will be declared for the CET and AAT. The candidates who will appear in the exams for CET and AAT respectively can check their result by following the link given on this page.

PAU Counselling 2018

  • Candidates called for counselling should reach the venue on the scheduled date and time as per given counselling schedule.
  • Candidates have to report at 9:00 AM on the day of counselling.
  • At the time of counselling, the candidates selected for admission shall be required to deposit the full fee in cash immediately On the spot, failing which the seat will be offered to the next candidate on merit.

PAU Result and Counselling 2018

Punjab Agriculture University Exam pattern

Each correct answer will carry one mark, whereas 1/4 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer/overwriting/cutting. Candidates have to carry Two ballpoint pens (both only of black/blue color). The exam pattern for the entrance test conducted by the Punjab Agriculture University is given separately below.

Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT) Exam pattern

  • Duration: one and half hour
  • No of Questions: 100 multiple choice questions of one mark each.
  • Medium: English and Punjabi
  • Sections: The Question Paper will be divided into two sections (Section - I and Section - II)
