SHIATS Allahabad Admission 2018

SHIATS 2018 to be conducted on 31 May for admission to UG courses under Agriculture, Technology and Sciences. SHUATS 2018 is pen and paper entrance examination. SHIATS admit card has been released on 15 May 2018. The admit card can be downloaded in online mode only. The link to download the SHUATS 2018 admit card is provided on this page. Only candidates who have submitted the application form can download the admit card of SHIATS 2018. The question paper of SHIATS 2018 will contain a total of 150 questions. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. After the completion of test, the university will declare SHUATS result on 10 June 2018. Only the qualified candidates will be called for counselling process from 4 July 2018. Academic Qualification for all Undergraduate Agriculture Courses

• Candidate should have passed class 12 with at least 50% marks for General candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST.
• Candidates appearing for Class 12 examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply but their admission will be provisional.
  • They also have to submit documentary proof of successfully completing the examination at the time of counselling.
• Differently, abled candidates as per their Qualifying Examination are eligible for admission to Undergraduate Programmes.

Admission to ICAR Candidates: For the academic programmes in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering and Allied Sciences, fifteen percent (15%) seats in Undergraduate Programmes will be filled through All India Entrance Test conducted by ICAR, New Delhi.

However, 85% seats in Undergraduate shall be filled through SHIATS 2018 entrance test conducted by the SHIATS scheduled for 1st week of June

A common Application Form is applicable for all academic programmes irrespective of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, B.Ed. B.P.Ed, M. Ed and Diploma for admission through Entrance Test or Direct Interview (excluding PhD).

SHIATS 2018 Application Form

Candidates can fill the SHIATS 2018 Application Form via three modes discussed below:

• Mode 1: Online Application Form
• Mode 2: By Sending a Request to the University
• Mode 3: On Cash payment from University Fee Counter

SHIATS 2018 Online Application Fees Payment

• Mode 1: Bank Challan: Candidates can deposit the fees through bank challan generated after filling the application form at the PNB or Axis Bank branches PAN India
• Mode 2: Net Banking: Candidates can also paid the fees through SBI Net Banking (SBI Collect) by way of Debit / Credit Cartd.,

SHIATS 2018 Annual Fee Structure

Admission to various undergraduate programmes shall be granted through ENTRANCE TEST, strictly on the basis of merit. SHIATS Allahabad Admission will be made purely on the basis of

• The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the SHIATS 2018 score obtained by the candidate in the SHIATS Entrance Test/ Direct Interview 2018.
• Their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in Class 12 examination.

• Separate merit lists will be prepared for each category (Christian & General) based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test for the purpose of admission.
•  Separate merit lists under each category will be displayed on the notice boards of the university by 3rd week of June 2018 and will also be available on the University Website
• Candidates selected for admission into various academic programmes offered by the University are considered as full-time regular students.

SHIATS Counselling 2018

• Counselling of candidates as per the ranking in each category (Christian & General) will be done for admission to various Undergraduate Programmes.
• Information regarding date & time of counselling will be given on the official website later.
• Candidates will have to download their call letter for the counselling from University website.

Selection through ICAR

Fifteen percent seats in Undergraduate Programme & 25% Seats in PG Programmes in Agricultural and allied subjects will be allotted through ICAR 2018,  All India Entrance Test Conducted by ICAR, New Delhi.

• Test Booklets for Undergraduate Programmes  All candidates for the admission to Undergraduate Programmes are required to attempt a total of 150 questions from Undergraduate Booklet UG-1 or UG-2 as per their Qualifying Examination.
• The Question Paper for UG Exams will be in both Hindi and English Language
• Negative Marking- For each wrong answer 1.0 mark will be deducted.

• Candidates of all the subject groups mentioned above have to attempt the compulsory section
• From the optional section, the candidates are required to attempt any Three Subjects as per their qualifying examination and subject group code filled in the admission form.

SHIATS Scholarships

• Eligible Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/General of Uttar Pradesh are given Scholarship by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh as per G.O. No. 641/64-2- 2013 dated 2 December 2013.
• Eligible candidates of OBC / General are also be given Scholarship by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh as per G.O. No. 641/64-2-2013 dated 2 December 2013.
• List of the documents to be submitted along with SHIATS 2018 Application Form for availing the scholarship:
  • Caste Certificate 
  • Domicile Certificate 
  • Income Certificate 
  • Annual Income of the Parents should be less than rupees two lakh for OBC / General / Minority / SC / ST.

Note: Students whose parents are in Govt. Job will not be eligible for this Scholarship
