GCET 2017 is Common Entrance Test which is conducted by (DTE Goa) Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa, for admissions to the First Year of Professional Degree courses in the State of Goa. GCET conducted for the admission to the Government, Government-aided and un-aided colleges in Goa offering B.Tech, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences and Nursing at Institute of Nursing Education. The Admission to MBBS & BDS will be done on the basis of NEET, till last year GCET Medical Exam was conducted for admission for MBBS & BDS Course. B.Arch admission in Architecture colleges across Goa will be based on NATA 2017 scores. The GCET invites the application for the admission in the following courses:
Latest Update: The admission to the B.Tech, B.Pharm, Allied Health Science and B.Sc Nursing will be conducted on the basis of GCET Goa. Goa State Government has requested Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India to allow BHMS and BAMS admissions for the year 2017-18 on the basis of GCET-2017. However, the final decision is still pending therefore, the candidates who wish to take admission in BHMS/BAMS are advised to appear at GCET-2017 also.
GCET 2017 Exam date has been declared. GCET 2017 will be conducted on 9 May 2017 and 10 May 2017 for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

Nationality: Admission to the professional courses in the State of Goa is open to Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria under various categories.
Candidates seeking admission to Professional Degree courses like B.Tech, B.Arch, B.E., B.Pharm, BHMS, BAMS, Allied Health Sciences, & B.Sc. in Nursing have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria only then will they be offered admission into the engineering, architecture & medical colleges. Candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Professional Degree courses during the academic session 2017-18 are required to fill a Common Application form of GCET Goa 2017. GCET Application Form has to be filled offline only and there is no online application for GCET 2017. The candidates are advised to follow the link below to fill the application form.

The candidates seeking admission in architecture course have to fill GCET Application Form B1 and also appear in NATA Exam. Appearing only in NATA and not filling the GCET Application form B1 will not give admission to the candidates in the architecture college in Goa.
The admit card will neither be available on the official website or nor be sent by post to the candidates. The candidates need to collect the admit card in person while submitting the application form A. Goa CET Admit cards 2017 will be issued only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date.

Candidates appearing in the CET Exam will have to an Application Fee of Rs 1800 at the time of the submission of the GCET Goa Application Form. The Application Fee is to be paid via demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji – Goa, on any Scheduled Bank. GCET Goa Results 2017 are expected to be declared on 17 May 2017. The results will be available in online mode only. The students can search for their name in the GCET Results 2017 list.
